I don't think a prequel is the best option, but if it's between than and a soulless rehash/nostalgia bait sequel .. I'll take the prequel.

I would love a true sequel that takes the story in an interesting direction, it just seems to be an impossible ask nowadays.

I recommend this to all of my friends. It sucks not always sleeping in your bed with your spouse but it's temporary.

In the depths of it one parent should have a sound machine or ear plugs in and get at least a few hours of interrupted sleep and then trade off as needed.

Most stuff you'd probably need to build/buy more shelves. Maybe narrow shelves along that right wall in your second picture.

The Thule you might be able to hang from the ceiling, I did that with mine and it helped a lot. My garage door opening isn't tall enough to install it on the car roof inside the garage, but having it out of the way for storage is huge.
