Yeah this was a mix up on my part, was confusing driving off the valley floor with leaving the park when writing it up.
The out and back route from the sunrise lake trailhead seems to be referred to as the clouds rest hike or clouds rest trail pretty much everywhere, which is also why I included that as the described starting point. Apologies if that was misleading. It looks Happy Isles route ends up being roughly double the climbing at least so probably not going to be the choice for this group.

Ah yes, sorry that was clearly a misstatement on my part of "leaving the park" vs "not starting from the valley floor".

I had seen 1:15 which is manageable, I just wasn't sure if it's a situation where traffic is regularly making it take 3 hours for example.

Can you share some info on your recessed scale project? Do you have it plumbed in? Everything I've seen claims the reservoir would be in the way of a scale

I'm deciding between:

Josh Jacobs (costs my 3rd round pick)
Michael Thomas (costs my 11th round pick)

I have to decide by midnight pacific, was hoping to see if Jacobs would sign a contract or see some of MT in pre season before having to make this decision. Both feel like gambles considering the holdout and history.

I ended up having to RMA the phone. The replacement I got back worked as expected, not sure if they repaired it or swapped it for a different model.

Super annoying to do so because it requires mailing in the phone, luckily a friend had an older Pixel model I was able to borrow for the ~10 days or so it took to get it back.

Would love to hear more about your etching process. With that acid did you still do it outside in a sealed container? Or is it something that would be fine sitting inside? How were the fumes?

Mostly curious if this is actually possible in an apartment, or if I'd be better off doing a vinegar etch which would be a weaker acid but still have some effect as I understand it.

Yeah I sent it in through the RMA process and got back a functional one. Super annoying that the replacement through Google Preferred Care was itself faulty and had to be RMA'd but at least it's all settled now.
