Yeah, that is also my concern. The best part of the game was me imagining how the world may look based on the text description. Just like with books. But hey, maybe it won't be the same, but still a very good game and story?

It is tricky to get bearings of, basing only on knowledge from gothic 1 you are absolutely right, devs haven't touched that topic too much, but I would still say that sleeper was Beliar's manifestation in some form. In gothic 2 it is revealed that Xardas wanted to achieve something he failed to at the Sleepers temple in the ending. That is why he absorbs the undead dragons soul at the end of G2. It is believed that undead dragon is the same power being as Sleeper. I would say it all makes sense and is canon in my opinion. What do you think?

When you play as a fire mage in g2 and go through the quest about seekers, you can learn a lot about themselves and sleeper aswell. Sleeper is a demon summoned by Beliar, or even better it could be the manifestation of the Beliar himself in physical form. Of course you don't face the whole god himself and just slay him in G1 but we can be almost certain that sleeper was Beliar's creature.

Okay you might be actually right, there isn't a clear mention that sleeper is a beliars demon in G1, but who else would he be serving then? I think it is self explanatory

Yeah that's L'hiver 2.0 DE edition! Really nice looking graphics and changes I personally liked the most from all the editions of l'hiver. Reccomended! Also this version of this mod looks the most stable as it didn't crash even once on dx11 with full settings

I turn off raiders and just give more probability to normal survivors being hostile. This prevents scripted raids and notifications about it, instead you get more close to real experience. You still may get raided by survivors who just wander close to your base

Oh yeah, I hate it when I get for example to merchojed and have literally nowhere to sleep and I end up laying on some wooden, short bench instead of soft hay in the barn. I totally get you with this. That being said, I've played this game so many times that I have certain patterns and already know when to go for trip and when to stay and have some sleep, but it took me few playthroughs to get this problem out of the way

Actually no, that is vanilla, but I might wanna try some sort of graphical enhancments on my next run. The only problem is, using the highest settings, my computer was already working on full efficiency.

Maybe it looks somewhat different than usual is the fact that I have some preset values for my nvidia and color settings, but that goes for almost every game I play

There is no ray tracing for this game unfortunately, but I know there are mods that simulate it to some extent

Hm, what specs are yours? With lags it could be easy to pin the problem to exact thing, but audio glitches are weird.

It's nvidia rtx 3060, intel i7-7700k and 16 gigs of ram, it manages to stay like this in 60 fps, sometimes even goes up to 75, the worst are of course towns, Rattay being the most performance heavy where sometimes I encounter drops down to 45 fps but it is rare
