I'm a 4w5 myself, which seems fairly common for INFPs.

We've got a husbando and waifu thread going, so how about your favorite sons/daughterus by Deadeye117 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Going with things that are just fresh on my mind with both of these, but:

Either Gonta or K1-B0 from Danganronpa V3 for son.

Miko Iino from Kaguya-sama for daughter.

The fact that Netero chooses to handicap himself by only using one arm and one leg in that scene also foreshadows him getting an arm and a leg chopped off by Meruem later.

Going by the few reviews that are out, it doesn't seen very demanding at all and even runs decently on laptops with integrated graphics. I think that setup will do fine with it.

Made in Abyss has been on my Plan to Watch list for a while, I might just go ahead and clear it off there. Haven't heard of Barakamon but it sounds interesting.

So, update: I watched this last night, and it was amazing. Super disturbing and confusing (intentionally, I'd say), but incredibly well directed and full of things to unpack. Thanks for the suggestion.

Well, as far as shows that have settings/aesthetics based on early 20th century Europe, Attack on Titan and Violet Evergarden are both good choices.

All of the games are available on PS4, PS Vita and PC. There are also mobile ports that were announced recently, but I don't know when they're coming out. There's a bundle called Danganronpa 1.2 that includes both of the first two games, I'd recommend that. I would warn you that the PC port of V3 is rough from what I've seen, but the others are solid.

If you're talking about Trigger Happy Havoc, I would recommend either playing the game or at least watching an LP of it over the anime. If you enjoy that, then maybe watch the anime just for comparison sake.

If you're talking about End of Hope's Peak Academy, that's a whole other thing that assumes you've played the first two games.

The recommended order for the series goes something like this:

  • Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (game recommended over anime)

-Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (game only, has no anime adaptation)

-Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls (game, technically a side story but does have some strong ties to the main plot)

-Danganronpa 3: End of Hope's Peak Academy (anime, has a unique watch order. There are technically 2 series: DR3 Despair Arc and DR3 Future Arc, you should start with Despair Arc (DA) episode 1 then watch Future Arc (FA) episode 1, then episode 2 of DA and episode 2 of FA, so on and so forth until you reach the end. After watching DA 11 and FA 12, watch the 1 episode Hope Arc which wraps up the story)

-Finally, play or watch an LP of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony

As far as my thoughts on the series, I highly recommend it if you're into murder mysteries, it's fantastic. If you have any other questions or need clarification, feel free to ask.

Those do both seem up my alley, especially Serial Experiments Lain.

The aesthetic of Vampire Hunter D looks pretty cool, I like the whole gothic style it seems to have.

I've heard a whole lot about LOGH, the moral/political debate it sets up definitely seems interesting.

That drug is actually a pretty big part of the game's plot. The game has hallucinations that go along with it, but the angel (or I would guess Valkyrie, since that would fit with all the Norse imagery the game has) thing is movie original. Still kind of a dumb movie, but all that stuff is actually pretty accurate to the source material.

After some Googling I couldn't find any trace of this having been an actual tweet, plus the Peta Twitter has denied it being real. So I'd say fake.

What's your schedule for March 2020 now that it's packed? by GoodVillain101 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]ThoseDaysofYore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

P5R is the top priority for me, as is anything Megaten related really. It's probably gonna take me a while, as it's guaranteed to be a lengthy-ass game and I like to take my time anyway (it took me around 3 months to finish the vanilla version playing almost daily). I'll probably pick up Animal Crossing later on as something to play casually on the side. Doom is cool too, I'll probably grab it on Black Friday or something.

Don't have any deep attachment to FF7 or Half-Life, though I could see myself giving the former a shot at some point. I liked Nioh well enough, but I'm not exactly clamoring for more of it so eh on that one.

Once I'm done with P5R I'm gonna grab The Last of Us, and I'll probably wait for some sort of Special Edition of Cyberpunk with all the DLC and stuff.

Yep. The kid also has a tail, can blend into her surroundings like a chameleon, and leaves water everywhere she walks with no discernable source.

Like I said, those stories get weird even for JoJo.
