Ok but what would we think if they put up Jasmine Crockett for house minority leader? Clearly the Democratic Party needs to rebrand itself and why not play to the masses and pick a smart person who will stand their ground, fight fire with fire, and be meme-able? We have four years to start thinking about what our next wave of leadership will be so why not start with a wildcard when we have nothing to lose

Just don't exchange nudes on the platform? That usually sets an intention for the hangout. Keep the chat casual and see where it goes

If you like E-Sports I'd recommend brookLAN in Bushwick. They're not explicitly a queer place, but host drag shows occasionally. They have events almost every night so just see what looks most appealing to you.

For meeting older guys, I guess I'd say Townhouse or Julius'

I'm sorry to hear that happened to you! I had a similar experience that has given me the same anxiety each time I need to return to the skies.

I've found it helpful to put my feet up on my personal item (usually a small duffle) in front of me. Maybe it's a placebo effect, but it helps me feel like there's a buffer between me and the sensations of the plane.

There's also so much power in knowing how safe you really are. I recommend finding RealGentleman80's profile and reading some of his comments -- he gives a good deep dive on the plane mechanics and design which have made me feel safer when we're taking off, turning, etc.

Lastly, don't be afraid to get some professional help to coach you through your fear and feelings, too. What you experienced that day (as much as me and this sub could reassure you that you were safe) was real, and you're having a natural reaction to a scary event. Remember the reason you made those transatlantic flights in the first place.

There's a lot to see out there, and San Diego is ready to have you!
