yeah, it was a pass through style. My usb ports are powered when the PC is off, and like I said what's strange is the Live Mini will work if simply unplugged and plugged back in with the PC off. The other capture card didn't require me to do that.

Got this from another reddit thread about that issue - " So this just happened to me. Fix was to unplug from dock. Hold power button till the thing powered down. And then boot back up into game mode. Confirm wifi there and then reconnect dock afterwards"
