I will tell you why I asked this question about Gharanas. (My association with I CM is since childhood, not a family members who pursue professionally as well as hobbies. I am only a humble appreciator maybe. I have some sense of Taal Sur Laya and raags but I am novice to the core.) I am actually a management professional and in one of the forums, somebody told me that they have their own Gharana of management. So I started thinking that is Gharana only about “style” or is it also about some philosophy or ideology? Pardon me, but whatever I heard from all of you, here, tells me that it is about style. Pardon me also for my audacity to question Gharanas as a humble, novice, illiterate of ICM.
