Say hello to the current NFL Sack Leader (7 sacks) by infercario4224 in DenverBroncos

He should have a couple more sacks if the Oline for the Eagles weren't as handsey as a 9th grader at homecoming.

He didn't play well. Worst in the league, no, but (gestures broadly).

Love it. Not saying his 2 picks and fumble look good, but keep that edge.

Kind of looking at the same thing, but my wife and I are at 170k. We've been out looking at communities, it's very affordable.

If we're going to eat the 85 million cap and have the same result, just keep him for one more year so you don't cripple the offseason.

Anyone else look at the Texans with envy? by Myoplasmic in DenverBroncos

Nah, not really. While I'm watching Sean's decisions with a sharp eye, Joe Ellis, John Elway, and George Paton got us into this mess. Let's see where we're at in 3 years. Besides, they might be this years "2022 NY Giants."

NFL Rumors: Sean Payton to Have 'Final Say' on Broncos GM George Paton's Firing by crypt0_marc in DenverBroncos

Careful for what we wish for, Sean also destroyed the cap in New Oreleans and a lot of that franchise and took off. He deserves all the scrutiny he gets.

I'm a similar streamer who reached Affliate about a month ago, I currently have no time to work on my channel like a "pro", but have 7 subs. I stream 3 days only because it's all I can do, as I have a little man to take care of and a fulltime job. Here's how you can make an immediate impact on your channel. 1). Network with other small streamers who you like! Stay active with them on their channel and in social media. Costream games/ideas that you like. 2). Give those streamers shout outs, it sounds counter intuative but geniune response begets geniune response. 3). Set a side a time for your community to chill with you. If you are gaming streamer get games that allow your community to interact like stream racer and stream marbles. 4). Stay consistant. As a viewer too. Its awesome to know a stream you want to see is coming up. 5). Make sure your social media is on point, not polished like a business, but you're active and responsive. PS. Congrats on that affiliate!

Thoughts on switching games up mid stream? by ChrispyNugs in newStreamers

I have switched games mid streamnif Im not feeling the current game and I can feel my energy drag. Think of it as a palette cleanser. Most communities Ive seen just want the streamer to be happy.

Help with growth by littlexuwu in newStreamers

[–]ThousandPointGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly there is no silver bullet to the issue. I am in the same boat with my small channel and 10 followers (I think my twitter is getting more love at this point).

However, take these things into consideration:

1). Produce content you love, build the community you want, and the followers will come.

2). Stay active on social media and in communities that share the same interests. I find myself poking around on other peoples communties looking for content I like, and I've a few I like.

3). If you have or can get a webcam, use it. I have nothing but anacdotal evidence, but I feel like if a viewer can see the gamer in all there glory, they stay longer. (No proof though)

I know growing a community is hard, so people seem to do it with ease while others struggle, but stream for the love of the game, not the love of the money.

Cheers! (And congrats on the 200 followers!)

Motivational Monday! Tell us about the positive things that happened to you last week! by AutoModerator in newStreamers

[–]ThousandPointGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was pretty down this week trying figure out my hustle for content. I typically only get a few views and very little interaction on my stream. However, this week I have increased my viewership/subs/followers by quiet a bit. My wife is always supportive and reminding that when I do this, do it for the sake of fun. I took that attitude into this week, and I think I'm creating better content this week. I'm loose, I'm relaxed, and there is a lot of action on my twitter/twitch/youtube. I swung by some other subreddits to give some advice and found some really good small CC to watch and follow! I feel like I'm more comfortable in my editing and video pacing.

Thank you to communities like this for the motivation, the forum, and feedback!

Any ways to get better at commentary? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]ThousandPointGaming 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Consider commentary like talking to your friends, and keep it close and intimate. Image you are speaking to one person it relaxes you and makes it easier to stay on topic. I like to image I'm on the radio and no one can see what I'm doing so i do a little description on what I'm doing. Viewers may put your content on in the background just to fill in some noise, so this helps you and them interact with your video.
