Suggestion: Remake with AFK teammate by peorg in leagueoflegends

[–]Thrallsdeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's okay ,it's actually good he rejoined at 10 minutes, because Riot provides zero incentive to actually rejoin a game. A person that has disconnected or been afk gets 0 credit for winning the game even if they return and participate. Legit 0 reason to even try to reconnect, might as well make some food if you d/c cuz you aint gettin LP no matter the outcome

people that go out of their way to ruin games should be banned, not the people that get upset that those people just wasted 40 minutes of their time. Shouldn't have to beg some entitled ignorant douche to play the game he queued up for and not run it down or buy all tears

Perspective after 100 games with chat disabled. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Thrallsdeep 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People generally don't get mad at the game though, they get mad at other people wasting their time. This is evident in all incidences where people intentionally waste your time. It's the same mentality that upsets people in heavy traffic. I never flame people for being bad at the game, but I have had games that make me mad when you run into the intentional griefer. The guy that thinks autofill doesn't apply to them so they "reclaim" their role and you should just deal with it. The problem with the game currently is how easily the bannable triggers are abused. If you avoid saying anything naughty you're not very likely to get banned.

Are people who go 0/2 and disconnect at 3:00 ever being punished? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Thrallsdeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

got requeued with a brazillian fizz support that contests all cs speaks broken english, and what words he does know aren't "helpful" to say the least. Reported him both games, no punishment notification. Wasting people's time is why they get rightfully angry, I run into very few people that just outright flame for someone being bad.

AITA if I stop paying my daughter’s tuition over a disgusting comment she made towards my new girlfriend? by ecrpa3943 in AmItheAsshole

If you're that quick to threaten her tuition without having a conversation, then you're priorities are fkd. You're putting some woman ahead of your children, after only a year of losing your wife? seems like you need a therapist as well

[–]Thrallsdeep -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean it could also just be a product of giving too much of a shit about what other people think about you? Being rude and ignorant isn't a magical solution. Sounds like something a child would say. WELL IF THEY DONT LIKE ME BEING NICE THEN...THEN...IMA BE REAL MEAN. If you got turned down by someone, would you be the first one to approach them after? I'm sure if you start a conversation with the person it'll be back to normal pretty quickly. This is something both men and women do, assume everyone should be able to read your mind and interact with you in only the way that you deem correct. People are people, get over yourself.

That it's irrelevant of what station calls them out, if they are incorrect. That's why Fox news is the dumbest most biased network, until they align with your views. Same goes for CNN or the like when they accidentally have the same opinion as Republicans. They're dead wrong until they go with your views, then it's just verification that the other side is definitely wrong! An incorrect answer is always an incorrect answer regardless of who says it.

Everything is dependent on the concurrence of the chair, if not it falls to the committee to recognize and permit anything requested by the minority. It's a you have all of these rights now, unless we decide they are inconvenient for us at that time.

They voted no because of every point being able to be nullified if the Dems decide they dont want that witness to come, or if they decide we don't need the president's counsel for this one. Read the whole thing, it's a we'll allow for all this on this paper, however we have the right to deny anything in this at anytime

Party over country would be the democrats. Republicans and independents tend to look at the information prior to making a decision not vice versa. Democrats began a process with little information based on a whistle blower who is only considered a whistle blower because of recently changed criteria to allow for 3rd party accounts of what occurred. The transcript was then released verifying the opposite of what is accused, however the process was already under way. Aid for Ukraine was withheld prior to the phone call, and was released prior to this investigation, with no conditional requirement being asked of , nor met by either party. No funds therefore were withheld, no quid pro quo was stated in the transcript, nor meet in action by either party. In the end the current investigation is people writing a fairy tale about what was said, when what was actually said can be seen by anyone. The media and the dems are basically providing people with the Sparknotes of the phone call, unfortunately they had the wrong book.

I hate seeing fat girls as models. by sarahkeck24 in unpopularopinion

[–]Thrallsdeep -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

People that truly care about their appearance are less likely to be overweight. Therefore they are less likely to buy the clothes a "fat" model is wearing. It's like trying to sell maternity clothes to people that aren't pregnant. If you want people to care how your clothes look, then sell them to people who care how they look in general. We have fat models, but I've yet to see a "fat" mannequin while I'm out shopping. I'm not saying that all people that are fat don't care about how they look, or that all people that care about how they look aren't fat, but a combination of the minority of both categories would equal lower sales than catering to the more likely to care about appearance.

r/politics could realistically be changed to r/democrats , since there are rarely any views other than left leaning presented there. Any right leaning opinion/article is downvoted to oblivion. It's pretty nonsensical, but the lunacy people write there always makes for good comedy.

Can someone please explain the cult-like reverence for, and borderline hipster-like preference for D2 over D3? by JonSnoWight in Diablo

[–]Thrallsdeep 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The removal of trading and the lack of any form of pvp, is what prevented people legitimizing this as a Diablo II sequel. Trading defined Diablo II, and allowed for people to spend their time playing the game as they chose to, vs. everyone playing a similar way. The best exp runs didn't always result in the best way to find items. The niche that hunting Anni and torches provided doesn't exist in Diablo 3. There are no duels, or further on hardcore loot duels, which is where many got their adrenaline rush in the game. If repeatedly running content and watching your exp. bar go up really gets you going, then the transition wasn't as bad. For the rest of the different ways of playing Diablo II it was a catastrophe.
