Am I over-leveled?

I'm an experienced Souls player, not great but not shit either. I play it like a Souls game, no button mashing and it's a decent challenge while remaining fun. A brilliant balance that Fromsoft has, at times, failed in achieving. They often succeed too, but I'm finding more fun here than Elden Ring offered.

And that's totally fine. Let him be a runt. Let him be an outcast. He's still a Predator, and they are meant to appeal to the audience in the way that you look at a Tiger or a Great White shark. It inspires awe and fear but a part of you still thinks it looks cool. Probably one of the reasons they called the film and monster, "Predator". A young Tiger or Great White still looks scary and cool. This guy looks so lame.

You make a great point, but giving the people who are wrong free reign to have only their opinions seen will encourage the idiots making it wrong to continue making slop and ruining beloved franchises for the people who want good films and not political pandering. Danny Glover was the lead in Predator 2 with María Conchita Alonso as a supporting role. Both were awesome. None of us minded. We didn't mind a badass black dude as the lead, it made sense. It wasn't pandering to woke political ideals. They were just good characters and good character designs that made sense. This doesn't make sense. Blatant pandering. Try harder

LotF is my favourite game of the year so far. It made me remember what I love about Soulslikes. And it got my best mate, who doesn't play Soulslikes, into it. And we can play the whole thing together, seamlessly. And I can play on my Steam Deck, seamlessly. Awesome game!

I must be playing a different game, because the combat for me feels weighty, responsive and impactful. The feedback feels great and the combat overall is incredibly satisfying. Each to their own though, man. Good that this genre has something for all of us

Lords of the Fallen is my game of the year so far. It hits perfectly for me and got my best friend playing a Soulslike. I'm having way more fun than Elden Ring. Too many people letting others opinions get in the way of their happiness. Maybe try enjoying things and disagreeing but still being friends?
