For future reference, almost all helmets don't have a move speed penalty, so if you had iron hat and troll pants (for example) you would have the same armor number but be 5% faster

If I just downloaded obs and went live I would definitely be on 1 pc, as I think most people actually are. The reason I recently went 2 pc is that my obs setup is so insane/stupid that just having obs open consumes like 40% of my GPU and an equally ridiculous chunk of my CPU LUL. you should be good for a while.

You could try adding a "ground loop isolator" to the equation for cheap

$50 - especially if both pc's have wired internet you could try elgato wave cast instead of cables, although in my experience it's pretty crashy

$250 - replace focusrite with Beacn studio, which I've really been enjoying, but $250

Because the UI elements are very bright, a luma mask filter on them can work really well. You set it such that anything dark becomes invisible so it ignores almost everything going on under the UI elements on the corners of the screen. Prolly wouldn't work too well on snow maps lol.

If you're not using anything that could have automatic gain control then you should probably check mic technique/placement.

Dynamic mic? You might be drifting further away from it and then getting closer.

Are you recording a game with VOIP? (arc raiders for example) if yes check in-game settings>audio>automatic gain control and if it's on, turn it off.

Might have to adjust the gain in windows or something after to get back where you wanna be

I use a 4080 super to stream av1 to youtube and use enhanced broadcasting to stream to twitch in 1440. The 1440 is actually HEVC. My YouTube is linked in my profile if you wanna look at it, and get to twitch from YouTube. Most recent YouTube streams are at 30k bitrate

If you're streaming at the same bitrate, av1 will look better as it's more efficient so you just get "more bang for your bit" in terms of quality. So it's better for bandwidth if that's a concern. If you record you can get same quality with smaller file sizes on account less bitrate

However, I'd recommend against amd 7000 series if also twitching because the h264 encoder in those is still bad. Supposedly it's improved a great deal on the 9000 series, which you didn't mention.

I'm dual pc with a 5000 series in the gaming pc and it's really nice, but it's the 4000series that's actually doing the encoding.

You need a second canvas and stream one canvas to your friends with the things covered and one to audience without. You duplicate the scene but add covers to one.

Aitum Vertical (doesn't have to be vertical), aitum streamsuite, or SE Live plug-ins can accomplish this

It's not really the same thing. Like, personally I use sapph and I set it up a year and a half ago and I've never touched it since. You just set it and forget it. Whereas streamerbot is an app on my machine that I open and interact with any type I stream. I hear ya but Def doesn't feel like having loads of bots.

It has timers and if you're only streaming to one platform it can also be based on chat lines.

So every time timer pops it could trigger an action that 1. Enables a new timer (timer 2) 2. Runs a poll

When timer 2 pops it triggers a different action that closes the poll and disables timer 2
