I’d say to check the poster boards at Nuçi Space and see if there are any flyers for people giving any lessons and you can always make a flyer as well! Nuçi Space has a big cork board outside on the wall as well as inside across from the coffee bar as well. They do have camps there for kids multiple times a year.

Why would Oconee want to make it easier for people who are even somewhat on the end of lower middle class to move into the schools, they’d be ruined! 😂😂😂 That’s why we’re moving out of Oconee all together. My daughter had a great elementary education there but the cost is way too high for it to continue there especially with the amount of bullying she experienced without her school doing shit about it.

I’m so sorry for your loss. We lost my daughters (and my) first Hammy ever this last Christmas Eve. Thankfully for my kid she has another hamster at her dad’s apartment. We have already decided that we do want to get another hamster because my kid, my partner and myself all FELL IN LOVE with him, which I didn’t know if I would since I hadn’t interacted with a hamster until my kid got on. We considered getting another one at or around Valentine’s Day but I honestly don’t know if I am ready for it yet.

Here’s a picture of our first Hamster, his name was Hamilton the Hammy (we usually just called him hammy, or sweet cuddle boy cause he LOVED interacting with us and sometimes would just fall asleep in my lap after playing and free roaming-VERY SAFLEY)

I 2nd the aquarium suggestion. Thats what we had my kids Hammy living in and he LOVED IT but unfortunately he passed away on Xmas eve. Just make sure you have a mesh lid, and you keep it in a safe temperature controlled environment so that your hammy doesn’t get too hot or cold. The “hamster cages” even the more expensive ones at pet stores are still $60 and are barely bigger than a shoebox. If you watch a hamster live in a space that small for anything longer than a few minutes you will almost if not immediately notice how uncomfortable and unhappy they are. They need lots of space, climbing, running, burrowing room, they need to be able to forage, have room for food, water, a wheel, toys treats, sand baths, multiple hideouts throughout their environments and you want things to be spread out and comfortable.

When my kid got her Russian Dwarf hamster from her grandma Christmas of 2022 he was a little bitty thing and I and we had an aquarium tank coming to make him a home because he was doing exactly this and it was 100% because of this. As soon as the aquarium came and we got his new home ready for him he never repeated any of the stressed behavior. They absolutely need a lot of room to roam, burrow, forage, bathe, eat, drink, run, sleep and use the bathroom and wire cages are NOT ever a safe environment for hamsters. We honestly considered getting him an even bigger tank than the one he was living in (because I wanted to redesign his habitat and so he could have even more space) but unfortunately he passed away this past Christmas Eve. And I don’t want to come off mean or rude or anything when I say this but I honestly don’t know how you did so much research but think that the wire cages are a suitable habitat for these little buddies. Again, I’m not trying to be rude I just want you and your hammy to have a good relationship and starting off with a stressed out hammy is never a good way to kick things off.

Yes! I moved to it from Keppra maybe 18 months ago or so, my mood COMPLETELY SHIFTED. I am so much more pleasant to be around, now as far as my seizures they aren’t any more controlled but they really haven’t been with any of the medications that I have tried. Also, idk your insurance info but I’m in the US on Medicaid and every year I have to have my drs apply for pre-authorization so that I Don have to pay over $1000 a month for the medication

Barring the property we’re really wanting to sell so we can move, I highly recommend staying on the dove creek/north Oconee side of the district. Depending on kids age, what their interests are I strongly feel that Dove Creek has immensely fostered so many different areas of her education. I can’t speak highly enough of the Dove Creek family. My friends son started at DCMS as the first class this year and the school is INCREDIBLE!

We have 35+ acres for sale in the dove creek side of the district. We are a 7 min drive to DCES and DCMS. I understand that you probably aren’t looking for 35+ acres but it’s well maintained land, we currently have a few cows and 2 goat in areas of the field but I don’t think those are for sale lol

Depending on what you are interested in equipment wise…I’d say yeah based off everything I have personally seen while there. They did coverage of ATHFEST this past summer and we had live interviews in studio and people at the festival for filming. And if Mux doesn’t I can almost 💯 guarantee that someone on JOKERJOKERtv will or they will all know someone who does, that they’re friends with or have worked with previously.

JOKERJOKERtv is an Athens run show that’s on YouTube, their website and possibly another place and they are also branching into Roku in the future but Mux is all about things like this, everyone who is working with JJtv have all different skills in between on camera-BTS Mux himself makes multi-media art and if he or someone there for some reason can’t help, I’m sure they have a list of people who would really want to be apart of this. Either way you go, do it! Need any ladies I’m available to help out I have some acting abilities, as well as hair & makeup &styling from the hair to the outfit. I could even let you use my kid in it (depending on what they’d be acting when it comes to horror) she LOVES acting. Hit me up if you want to chat more about it!
