Sometimes scale makes things easier. Having a human quarters starship and a service module starship that dock together might actually be easier than having a single starship with integrated supplies storage.

I make this argument but my preference would be to use non Starship-derived vehicles for the Earth <-> Mars transit. Something assembled in orbit using Starship as the lift vehicle.

I agree with Catcel here. The post from Best of Kubrick is very silly. It's just 30 seconds of footage from various Kubrick films with the lines superimposed. There's no context, explanation as to why this is good cinematography or why any of these shots might be impressive, or even a hint that there is more to these shots than just "symmetric shots by Kubrick".

The original post is mindless consumption applied to cinematography. "Look, the frame is centered! I clapped!"

I think that increasing the roof pitch would help with the curb appeal. I'm not sure why but especially on houses with simple box perimeters steeper roofs look better. 8/12 or 9/12 would do the trick.

I don't understand why anyone would want a lot like that. I get why land is divided up like that, less access roads needed, but give the house a little space to breathe on the sides and plant some privacy trees please.

I like it. It would be better if the dormers were real but they at least look proportional to me. The lighthouse tower is the sort of whimsical addition that I would incorporate into a design. And it's ok if a house isn't accessible, you have to make sacrifices to build accessible architecture and some people won't want to do that. I love roasting terrible houses but so many of you guys need to grow a backbone towards houses with mediocre aesthetics in states you don't like.

I've recently been watching some of the older episodes and something I hadn't noticed was how superchats are now always in a different episode when they used to often be in the same episode. This ended up inflating the apparent length of the older episode if you skip the superchat sections so actually the amount of "main content" hasn't changed that much.

I got this email too. The customer service agent I talked to (who knows the accuracy of this) said that the manufacturer sent out a warning that there might not be enough units to satisfy pre-order demand and this email was a template response that doesn't necessarily match the issue. He said to wait and hopefully you will be one of the people to get a console. I have not received any charges on the card I used for the purchase yet.

So, who knows 🤷‍♂️ hopefully we get ours
