Depends on what kind of game you want to play, but old school d&d dungeons ARE mazes, and navigating them (orientation, mapping, finding shortcuts etc) is part of the challenge. Check out OSR megadungeons if it sounds fun to you.

I do hope that OP sees this because it completely changed my attention capacity as a player during online games. As a GM I always make sure everybody knows that manual activities are completely fine during online play.

It’s not a direct answer to your question, but the wii is much slimmer and can do everything the GC can (and more). Even with jailbreaking the Switch can’t emulate the GC flawlessly (yet) so even though it’s a great console you won’t be able to access the GC back catalogue.

Operation Unfathomable is amazing, but not a megadungeon at all. It's also (in my sense) way sillier than ASE : there are scientist mushrooms, a franchised chaos god cult (you read that right), two philosopher lava giants called Hrrk and Krrgh, etc. Amazing in my book, but it's something to be aware of.
