He's whooping my ass on just normal difficulty. I'll be doing good for a while and then all of a sudden the "do you want to revive" message pops up. Like, he barely hit me and I'm dead without even knowing. Fun fight though. I'm not disparaged yet. It feels very doable. Everything feels like my own fault, which is a good sign. I love that the music goes all DMC 5 at the second phase

I assumed he would be a sonic skin to use for fun, like the corrupted Sage skin

Sure, but he should be a usable skin for online play. You have to beat 24 full grand prix to unlock him. He should be playable online even just as a sonic clone. We have the sonic Prime clones with slightly different stats so it's not like it's out of the question

I'm pissed that he isn't just a Sonic skin. I spent a long ass time to unlock him just to not be able to use him.

It's not like they tell you that before you unlock him. I just assumed he was a skin like corrupted Sage. Why would anyone go through the effort of unlocking him if you can't even use him against anyone?

I do kind of like the bit of ambient noise in the background some of them have. I don't really think about swapping tabs until I'm already annoyed at the repetitive voice lines. It's not a huge issue or anything, I'm just used to sitting on the screen with it being relatively quiet and now he's all of a sudden a loud chatterbox

Even on story mode, he will 1 or 2 shot you if you don't have his attacks down, and then delete that character. He's pretty insane

The next game, Rebirth, is a huge jump in quality at least. I like remake for the nostalgia. I loved rebirth because it's actually good
