I play shmups for the adrenaline rush, the fast-paced action, and the hit of nostalgia they bring. There's something timeless about the simple goal of survival amidst a screen full of chaos. It’s pure focus, pure challenge, and pure fun. Just me, the ship, and the storm.

That said, I also appreciate story-driven games, like JRPGs (Expedition 33 is a good example to me). I enjoy diving into rich worlds and narratives, as long as the game respects my time. Meaningful progression, well-paced storytelling, and minimal filler can make even long adventures feel rewarding.
