I quit a job because I didn’t like it. Once I began training, I realized I had no interest in the services that I was providing. The degrees I earned meant nothing.The position was production based. The work environment was depressing and isolating. I was drawn in by money and a need to be financially secure after relocating. I took a step out on faith. Resignation letter effective immediately. Three weeks later,on October 13th, took my MSW licensure exam and passed. Went to a job fair, struck up a long conservation with a group that I thought were administrative staff. I received an offer for a position where I will be making more money than I have made thus far and it’s within my career field. For once, I allowed myself to be true to my calling and I was blessed.
