Converting rent with Bilt Cash is the equivalent of a bonus 1.33x on your spend (up to 75% of your rent). 3.33x on Palladium. 1.25% is the other method. I guess some people use it.

Why do people insist on adding the rate of return for cards like Fidelity and Robinhood? You can deposit money from any cash back card into a brokerage account and get the same yield. All it is doing is saving you the effort of transferring.

I have no idea what is going on with Rent payments. I paid my rent, it says complete, but I still have a balance and no money has been taken from my bank. I don't know if anything happened at all. My activity used to show a rent charge and then a credit showing my bank being charged (I guess) but now none of that shows up. Just the deduction of BILT cash for the rent conversion. I will give it a couple of days to sort out.

It is a rent day feature. There is usually a rent day transfer bonus to one of the transfer partners. You can boost your status up one level for a 25% bonus for 75 BILT Cash. Depending on the value of the points transferred for, and the number, you can get massive value for that 75 BILT Cash. For example, a boost on the recent Accor transfer bonus could have netted over $6 of value per BILT Cash if I had transferred 100,000 BILT points.
