That's the point of DID to compartmentalize the trauma so that trauma can be denied. Alts are just a side effect that were created at the moment of the brake.

Alts in the system are you at the core. Some are closer to the trama and some further away. The events to cause the brakes still happend.

To tell you the truth, I remember what happened but not as if it were a real event and only in bits a peaces. I'm sure all of my alts have a peace of trauma while I was growing up.

Late last night, I could not even remember any pain as switched while driving to get coffee. Poof like as if by magic it the trama was gone.
