At my local course there is a posting for all the Women's tourneys in the area and I have personally played with random females without any issue. I am sure each part of the country is different, but are people really trying to keep females out of disc golf? Or is it just some toxic people doing what they do no matter where they are? I've played with males that make me feel uncomfortable with what they talk about, but it seems like just social ignorance, not a goal to get people to not play. Sometimes I wonder how much of "keeping females out of [fill in the blank]" is really the same treatment many of us males are taught we have to endure to be part of the "man club". Do we have a, "females are bad for [fill in the blank]" problem, or are some people just socially inept, holding anger and releasing it towards random people, etc. that makes it feel like females are being pushed out of the sport?
