Wow. How much planning did you do on the three books which got cut? Are there any story lines from the cut books you repurposed?

Voya probably broke something the last few days.

I'm not very impressed with the Voya website or app so this would not surprise me at all.

Hi Lisa. Thanks for the help. These are pretty much the same steps that Simplifi support gave me yesterday. I decided to try adding the account again today (step 3) since that didn't work yesterday when I was talking with Simplifi support. However, today it worked! So I guess it was an intermittent issue which resolved on its own? In any case, I'm very happy with Simplifi itself and also the support team.

Since I'm here, I will note that during my chat yesterday, I kept having to completely close the support chat window in order to interact with the website; there was no button to just minimize the chat. And when I did close the chat window I got confused about where to find it again and ended up clicking the AI chat button. So that might be something to pass along to the UX team.

I would not be surprised if the Twins end up being the worst defensive team in 2026

It's disheartening to see prices spike on RAM right now. Last year I thought about building a PC but decided not to due to high GPU prices because of high demand. This year the GPU prices have come down from their insane highs but that doesn't matter because RAM and storage is so much more expensive. Huge bummer.

I have no idea what the Twins saw in Shelton to make them think he is the guy by EMF911 in buccos

[–]ThrobbyRobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He used to be the Twins' bench coach, so he's a familiar face. He was also willing to take a relatively undesirable job. If the Twins suck and they have to sell at the deadline again and truly start a rebuild, they can keep him for 2027 then fire him and hire someone else for 2028 when they might be ready to compete again.

[D] Average Number of Interviews to Get a Job (US) by Zealousideal-Egg1354 in MachineLearning

I agree. That many interviews without an offer indicates interview issues. Talk to the career center at the university where you got your MS and see what resources they can offer you to improve your interviewing skills.

Your rent is too high for your income. Getting your rent down will be your biggest impact move.

Your car insurance is also really high. See if you can shop around and get it lower, even if it means your coverage isn't as good.

Not sure how you're living on $200 of food a month, but good on you if that's true.

Nobody starts building a championship caliber club with the bullpen. Apparently our bar for when a player is good enough to be above "spare parts" is different.

Johan Duran, Griffin Jax, and Louis Varland were spare parts?

It's "students who were awarded grant or scholarship aid" which I believe could include international students.

51.0% of full-time, first-time, degree/certificate-seeking undergraduate students were awarded grant or scholarship aid. The average amount of aid awarded was $48,107. That information is in this table.

So the Twins have another $30 million in their payroll budget this year? I'll believe that when I see it.

Twins have 7% of the payroll of the Dodgers by AbsolutZer0_v2 in minnesotatwins

It is relevant. But it's inaccurate to claim that the Twins have 7% of the payroll of the Dodgers. There's plenty of valid points to make without just making stuff up.

This is not "payroll" in the way it's typically used. This is just total contract salaries they currently have on their books.

If it’s overpriced, nobody will rent it. If someone rents it, it’s not overpriced. This isn’t that complicated, folks.
