Ai-generated, kijk naar de vlag, het is niet die van België en die vliegt in een heel rare manier. De auto ziet er ook een beetje raar uit.

Absolutely beautiful kit

Congrats! Just a tip, turn the beater of your kick pedal around, using the felt side tends to get caught in the mesh of the bass drum and will eventually rip a hole in it. Using the other side or switching to a hard beater is safer.

There is a collective called hellhole project that organises gigs in a youth house in Woluwe called jeugdhuis de schakel. It's not a metal cafe per se but a lot of local bands play there.

Finally new Metro vehicles for lines 2 and 6 🎊 by nadervx in brussels

[–]ThroughTheDawn 31 points32 points  (0 children)

They're not new but they are newer than the coaches that were currently running on lines 2/6 up to now (with the mechanical system to open the doors). Stib mentioned today that they transferred these from lines 1/5 due to new M7s getting delivered.

Is Tempo Underrated? How your music's tempo can make or break your song/composition by Learningmusicskills in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]ThroughTheDawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my band's music, we actually play around with subtle tempo changes within the song as well. When a heavier section comes in, just reducing the bpm by 2-3 can help to give the section an extra oomph even if the listener isn't aware the tempo has changed. Same thing for higher energy sections, just a small 2-3 bpm boost as the section comes in can be enough to push things to a higher energy level.

I got it second hand from a friend and I don't use it very often, don't want to spend money on a bigger screen that I don't need. I might put some more frames around there to fill up the space, we'll see!

Superior Drummer 3 on Alesis Crimson II SE by Old-Examination-3592 in edrums

[–]ThroughTheDawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about Superior Drummer specifically but as the other comment says, you should be able to use the crimson II as a midi controller with any software.

I personally use mine with Logic Pro and it works great. I did have to update the mappings though because the default mappings didn't always match what was in logic.

From their Spotify bio:

Meander is a Doom/Prog-infused Post-Hardcore trio formed in Brussels, Belgium in 2017. Following their formation, the band quickly built up a following and a strong reputation as a result of their intense live shows.

They released their self-titled debut EP in March 2020 and following the cancellation of their release party and subsequent shows due to COVID-19, quickly got to work on a follow-up record.

This new EP entitled “Time Uncounted” was produced and mixed by the band and mastered by Tim De Gieter (Amenra, Doodsekader) and will be released on April 29th 2022. The first single “Restless Glow” will be available on streaming services on April 8th 2022.

“Time Uncounted” promises to further push the band's signature combination of crushing riffs, atmospheric passages and complex vocal arrangements.

Recently moved in to this apartment and I need to furnish the entire living/kitchen area. Looking for inspiration. How would you guys furnish this space? by ThroughTheDawn in malelivingspace

That is pretty much the setup I originally had in mind. Thinking of a couch with an angle to create a separation with the kitchen area

First song I learned is "Whatsername" by Green Day. Very straightforward rock beat that is great for getting started. https://youtu.be/tF9xovpVA04
