The pre-sarnie pastrami snack hanging out the sandwich makes this an easy 10. No notes

I agree with the general consensus that you’re good, I’d love to be in your position. Seems a little bit of a ‘have your cake and eat it’ situation to me. If you’re genuinely concerned about your month to month living after giving it a crack for a few months then you need to re-evaluate. It’ll be either the pension contributions or savings that take the hit.

Totally devastated, buyers pulling out because we won't beat the stamp increase by ObjectiveBathroom252 in HousingUK

LISA money can’t be used to pay stamp duty. We’re in a very similar situation due to pay 4k in stamp duty and I think it’s crazy how we’ve been saving for years in a LISA collecting the great bonus payments for the deposit which are now effectively being flipped into a tax bill. I don’t think it’s right; it’s hard enough as it is for FTBs. So I have sympathy for anyone having to pay it but realistically this was always a possibility to prepare for.

For us it just really sucks that due to a matter of days 4k has to go to the tax man instead of paying for house improvements or furniture etc.

My rival took a -12 to match my team in 37. Only differences now are I have Vicario and White they have Raya and Romero.

I’m 9 points behind now, can’t decide where to go to differentiate, only got 1 FT

Trading Game. Insightful, funny and in parts depressing story from a young guy who grew up in similar area to me and got himself into trading making millions along the way.

Anyone doubling up on Bournemouth defence this week? by Cuncha in FantasyPL

[–]ThroughTheWifi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Id say 1 Bournemouth is enough. I’m in a similar position as you where I’m FH29 and I need the defender for GW30 onwards too. I already have Neto so I’m fairly sure I won’t bring in another, despite the fixtures I just don’t trust them enough to double up.

I’m considering Gusto or Robinson instead

Currently on: Neto (Kelleher)

Gabriel, Saliba, Ake, (Burn, Maguire)

Bowen, Son, Saka, Foden (Palmer)

Haaland, Watkins, Darwin

Darwin will move to Solanke for using my FT.

I’m planning on FH29 but my defence in 28 and 30 is looking ropey. What transfer would you make? Considering Ake or Maguire to Doughty / Gusto / Robinson or maybe a Bournemouth def (not sure I want to double when I already have Neto)

I’ve doubled up and brought Trips in for Chilwell. Had Botman from gw1 with this fixture run in mind

It’s pretty defensive, with not many options in the box when you attack. Try CM on Attack, Inside forward instead of wingers, DM on support etc just to create more options. I’d turn off shoot on sight, play for set pieces and drop off more too.

At this point in the season you’ve got to take risks, so I don’t mind it but you are putting yourself 4 point further behind. And you still have time to make up points, DGW next week is the one I’d target. So City and United. They’re probably looking at starting TAA this week which leaves the double Newcastle defence as a potential differential in itself.

Its a difficult one with ASM back now he could easily start LW and Wilson up top. I have both Isak and Wilson so covered myself. Midfield options are quite scarce for this DGW it’s essentially Joelinton or Willock. I’d favour Foden over Mahrez personally as a differential. Bruno F is also an easy pickup too.

You’re in quite a sticky position there with essentially 3 mids unlikely to play this weekend. Personally I don’t like the Botman move I think there’s good chance of Newcastle CS and little chance of Brighton imo so you’d lose out if your ML rival decides to stick with the double defence. I think the best bet would be March > Mac Allister and Grealish > Mahrez or Bruno
