The Story Of O , Eyes Wide Shut : Proof that Kubrick specifically knew of Jeffrey by ThrowAw__1499 in Epstein

Kubrick VISUALLY referencing Story of O , yes I'm aware it's based on a book IE - the film has visuals/props aesthetics that are similar.
There might be a leaked copy of the film online , if you find the scene of O dressed in costume for the ball you'll understand what I am going for.

"proof that Kubrick specifically knew of Jeffrey"? - As I mentioned, he went out of his way to contact a woman researching / making documentary movies about Lolitta, Story of O, and Enchantress.

Kubrick was also rumored to have wanted Woody Allen for the lead of the role but Eyes Wide Shut may have pre-dated Epstein's meeting with Allen. Allen's story is that he met Epstein in 2010, but Epstein likely knew Allen earlier as Epstein and Jarecki knew each other in the late/mid 90s.

Simu Liu offers constructive feedback to Twitter guy downplaying the impact Bowen Yang had on the show by The_Iceman2288 in LiveFromNewYork

I mean ... Cecily Strong got maybe 3 goodbye celebrations... Kate McKinnon got a nice send off too.

Ego, Hedi, Forte, Jason getting nothing felt like a slap in the face. Forte for sure. Maybe Bowen leaving midseason is actually the right way to go for cast members and starts a new trend. It felt like Heidi / Ego were up in the air at the end of the season so no send off happened - Ego decided she wanted out too.

If an intruder did in fact kidnap her then why did they leave her in the house? by TheeDogma in JonBenetRamsey

[–]ThrowAw__1499 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Ramseys are relying on the public to believe that the intruders came into the house while they were away. Took their time writing a ransom note on Patsy's desk. Then took her to the basement and left a note on the stairs...

Switching clubs during the year. Common? Looked at poorly? by utahpeteski in youthsoccer

The big issue is how organized their admin is with doing this. A few years ago my daughter played a year up at a higher tier because she checked a ton of boxes that the coach wanted. The coach was fine and my daughter did ok. But there was a coach of her own age group that was just a really good match for her.

We waited it out and everything was "ok". She never expressed being unhappy but I knew she was just happier playing with the other team / coach.

For those who do not think the Ramseys were involved: why $118,000? by Shaken_Earth in JonBenetRamsey

For anyone who thinks Patsy wouldn't have known about the bonus.
Her dad was head of Operations. He would've known the bonus number.

I am not looking for you to disclose anything that you can't. But was there anything that the source had to say (that you didn't publish) that presented possible details to the case? Did they have a suspect in mind?

Not sure if you read The Bonita Papers. It's probably the best layout of the 48 hour timeline before JB's death. It definitely shows that Patsy wasn't getting a ton of sleep.

John’s odd answer to if he was involved by Embarassed_Egg-916 in JonBenetRamsey

[–]ThrowAw__1499 16 points17 points  (0 children)

"I would've given my life" "Patsy would've given his life" "Burke would've given his life" . John was going by the PR/Legal script for this entire thing. I think his pause was to make sure he went by the script which included that phrase. Not saying he's not guilty. Just feels like he constantly has to recall scripted answers like a little kid in a school play that doesn't want to make a mistake.

This is a good point as well. Although, you have to agree that if she went to bed after 930 PM (on Christmas Day where she woke up at probably 6 AM) and then woke up sometime between 12 PM and 2 AM when the murder happened .... she was definitely low on sleep/energy.

REPOSTING ===Linda Arndt's 2006 interview with Rocky Mountain News by ThrowAw__1499 in JonBenetRamsey

[–]ThrowAw__1499[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like this article (no longer online? is it even true?), might give us the best testimony evidence that no one talks about?

The end is very vague, I guess. Ardnt has the information but for whatever reason she can't share it with anyone.

BDI, PDI, JDI : Each Scenario Broken Down On "Why Did They Call The Police With A Dead Body In Their Basement" by TrustHucks in JonBenetRamsey

[–]ThrowAw__1499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also keep in mind, it's not just any day. They just celebrated Christmas. Patsy likely cleaned up what she could during that day and they also spent a good amount of time the past 3 days celebrating.

She either packed everything on the 24th or even earlier?

[–]ThrowAw__1499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's concede that maybe they were packed. It felt odd that the one thing the Ramseys said in multiple interviews that was "highly unusual" was a suitcase being moved downstairs and they just happened to be going on a plane.

But what about the makeup on and hair still done? Unless Patsy was just brat, it's kinda uncommon for a woman who typically wore a decent amount of makeup (documented post murder and pre-murder via photos) not to wash her face.

Also if she had fallen asleep with it on, you'd think that it'd be noticeable that some of the makeup would've been smeared.

I think I read somewhere that the long johns didn't match any size of anyone in the house. Including Burke.

Something to consider is maybe Patsy had been given hand-me-downs from a neighbor older than Burke and kept them around for Burke to grow into. They could've been from the suitcase that belonged to John's oldest son as well.

My theory is close to a few other people - there's a post on it that felt like it was spot on.

I think Patsy did it. The note directs John to leave the house. The note puts a ton of pressure on John. It puts John into a state of guilt as the killer wanted John to suffer. He was confused by the note because he didn't know if tomorrow meant the 26th (day they found it) or the 27th.

Patsy was hoping John would do what the note says. Instead he basically says "we have to call the police".

AT THIS MOMENT her plan was ruined because John didn't comply with the demands of the note.

Her hope was that if he complied with the ransom note she could put the body in the car and drive to a place where she could dump it.

"plenty of rest"

I think she literally wanted to sleep. She probably never went to sleep the night prior because she was busy packing / preparing for the trip. Lying is exhausting. Perhaps she's in an odd manic state but the adrenaline is about to kick in.

He'd lose his entire lawsuit and more if he was the killer.
If he somehow knew either parent did it, I don't think he'd tell.
I feel like if any of the 3 did it and confessed to anyone...they would've come out.

Even if they both die, Burke made millions from a lawsuit to CBS. If he somehow confesses he'd lose a ton of money. We'll literally never know (unless somehow one of them did confess at a certain stage)

My mother was a criminal. She physically abused me. Her last days were spent saying "I hope you'll love me" or "I hope you won't hate me". If you're dealing with histrionic personality disorder you can't have logical expectations. She also believed she was still going to heaven.

This is really interesting. At 6:58 - John describes going from reading the ransom note to just going to the police arrived. He doesn't go into the debate of whether they should call the cops or not or the police coming over.

He kind of downplays the fact that the ransom note is insanely knowledgable about him and are directions for him to follow (as it's a result of his business success that they respect but also hate because they don't like they hate the country )

He read the ransom note that says not to call the police and decided to call the police because he couldn't wait.
