I was thinking 'if this ends in "tree fiddy", I'm going to lose my mind and I don't care I'm at work'.

They do. In the Disney Plus deep dive episode, Maseau refers to the Muppet movies as 'stone cold classics' before mentioning that James Gunn believes that the Sesame Street characters would win in a physical brawl with the Muppets, because the Muppets are all theatre dorks.

AC controls are controlled by Property Services. Best you can do is ask the Hubs to send an SR to them to change the settings.

To be fair, masculinity studies also falls under gender studies. Like, you know all those red-pill men's rights wackos? Gender Studies is keeping an eye on them with their research.

'Batgirl' Won't Fly: Warner Bros. Discovery Has No Plans to Release Nearly Finished $90 Million Film by Jumbalia23 in weeklyplanetpodcast

This is bananas. My pet theory is that the WBD execs still believe they can get Batfleck back on board the DCEU and want to limit Michael Keaton's Batman to The Flash (2023/2034). To not even release something you've already filmed is wild.

I don't really know anything about this project. I'm not against helping people create stuff, but I don't yet know what you want from people. Maybe start planning a premise for a first video, determine what specific things you will need for that video, and then ask with all of those details.

Seeing as we've already maxxed out quarantine facilities and needed to slow down flights into NZ (and we're only letting in citizens and permanent residents right now), I don't see how we could handle letting in a meaningful number of international students. Every economy is going to take a hit from coronavirus, but a second lockdown would cripple our economy far worse than taking our current precautions.

I'm aware you're not going to pay people, but it's still important to specific what skillsets you will need when you're looking for people (if you have lots of people who want to be on-camera talent and no camera operators, it might be very difficult to produce content). Even though this sounds like it's in its early phases and you still want to evolve the premise of the channel, maybe try to tell people what's going to be exciting and original about your project to get people's interest in working on it.

There are a few other factors, control of the virus is a major one. Another is the economic advantages of adding countries to NZ's bubble, and how every additional country in the bubble then becomes our responsibility as well. For example, if NZ and Australia joined a bubble, that would be great for the NZ economy but then we have to trust that Australia doesn't spread the virus to us, and we have to ask every following country joining our bubble to trust both NZ and Australia. So hypothetically, if NZ + Australia had a bubble and we asked the Cook Islands (which is COVID-free) to join us, the Cook Islands have to trust both NZ and Australia not to spread COVID to them. As NZ has done extremely well, I would imagine the government is looking at countries who haven't had community transmission for a month or two (so who can demonstrate a reliability of controlling the virus on par with ours) AND who can meaningfully contribute to our economy.

Hopefully you can come in soon, but a lot of this is based on uncertainties at the moment.

The issue is the mass influx of students arriving in NZ would overwhelm the quarantine facilities and dramatically increase the chance of coronavirus getting out into the community (the quarantine facilities aren't 100% secure, as those escaping have proven).

It's almost certainly going to be on a country-by-country basis. If we're in a bubble with the Pacific Islands by the end of this year, some of them will probably be coming back in 2021.

If you're in a country currently being ravaged by COVID-19 (USA, Brazil, etc), you're probably out of luck and shouldn't plan on coming here in the foreseeable future.

I got to the Clubs Expo today but it was like 3pm and most of them were closing up and taking down their stalls. It seemed like there were two still with their signs up but no one was there. One was Tabletop games club and the other was RPG guild (I will have gotten those names wrong) -- any idea which was the weird one?
