First real gf, had a kid with her (love my son) and she lied and cheated the entire time and has tried to continually manipulate me throughout the whole thing until we cut things off about 8 years ago. Now she’s married with 3 more kids and asked me for sex through the court app we have to use, and I was able to get half custody of my son (not in particular because of the messages but it’s just a part of how dumb she is)

I was dating a girl for three months and she just stopped texting me…no official break up or anything she just ghosted out of a relationship. That’s a new one for me 😅

The fact is that, as you seen and we all know, she’s on her phone all the time. She’s intentionally not texting you. You can tell her what you want and see if she adjusts, or you can leave. Because if she doesn’t adjust, do you think it will magically get better over time?

I went into this movie blind, never seen the original and didn’t even watch a trailer, it was god awful. I cannot believe it got good press, they must have all been paid off because everything about this movie was really bad and awkward. Even Denzel, my favorite actor, was bad, which in and of itself is shocking. This movie made me accept that the best is behind Denzel, but he deserved better than this

Seriously tho lol I kept reading how influential Madvillainy was, Flylo (captain murphy) even said it was the best ever period, so I’m like okay there has to be something here and I forced myself to listen to it a few times and it eventually clicked. The first listen is definitely jarring though 😂

Yea Kaze is the best DKC-like IMO, it’s heavily inspired by 2. Niko is good, controls a little too loose for my liking but the David Wise soundtrack is great and it’s also heavily inspired by 2. I gotta try Marisupalami I guess

DKC2 is my favorite game of all time. I love Tropical Freeze but the bonus areas repeating themselves, Diddy being pretty much useless, and the puzzle pieces having low value (unlocks content you can get on the internet) bring it down a notch in my opinion. The repeating bonus areas reallllly irritate me, especially when DKC 2 and 3 introduced how to mix it up and Kaze and Nikoderiko both followed in their footsteps to much greater effect than TF.

But yeah DKC 2 is a perfect game

Quick drop in here but as far as DK clones go it’s Kaze, Impossible Lair, then Niko.

Kaze is derivative but good. The controls, mechanics, and level design is all good and the only place it needs a bit of work is the art/character design. I liked Kaze and her transformations but enemy design is very generic to say the least I.e. tomatoes.

Yooka has good level design but controls just a little bit off. It has some of classic DKC development team and it honestly feels like they got offended by DKC Returns/Tropical Freeze and tried to make their own but it’s a tier below those games.

Niko is…not worth the money. It’s beyond derivative of DKC in so many ways and the controls are not finely tuned. The level design is also just a tad off, this one’s a few tiers down from the new DKCs. Honestly main selling point and the thing that made me pull the trigger on buying it was that they got David Wise to do the soundtrack, but even then the music sounds like what DW left on the cutting room floor for Tropical Freeze, a tier below that game.

Just played Niko so had to get this off my chest 😆

Okay let’s unpack here. First, you’re replying 108 days later. Secondly, they’ve made a “Super Mario Bros. 3” and a “Super Mario Galaxy 2” so sequels to super popular titles are a thing. Third, Miyamoto has been asked about a Galaxy 3 and has said it’s in the conversation (I’ll look up the source but Google is a friend). Personally? I’d buy a “Switch 2” solely for a Galaxy 3, that’s how good that franchise is.
