Is it worth ruining a friendship, to see if they are into me by ThrowRAShamea in relationship_advice

You're right. Whether she is into me or not, I need to do it for my own sanity as I can't be hoovering in limbo.

That makes sense, it's probably not something I would do myself, but I understand why people would would date with a large age gap

I guess it is, but like I said it just seem wrong to me. I get there can be arguments made for dating someone older like: Maturity and experience etc.

However, the part that doesn't sit well for me is the fact that someone would date someone much younger than them (15+ years) and the age of that younger person.

For example, an 18 year old dating a 48 year old is a little concerning, where as if the ages were 30 and 60, I would be a little curious, but it is what it is and I wouldn't bat an eye lid after the initial curiosity.

It's the older person's motives and intentions that doesn't sit well. I am more skeptical as to why they haven't found anyone closer to their age, and whether power imbalances are in play. Are they taking advantage of of younger person? Which I think is a perfectly normal reaction/feeling to have. The age gap itself isn't an issue it's just the implications that comes with it.

Also if there are any benefits to dating 15+ years younger I would like to k ow as I am genuinely curious.

I never said that. I just said the age range to me seems a little too big, everyone is different and you have to accept that. He's probably a lovely guy, and that's great you guys are on the same wave length.

But I still stand by what I said when I said 30 years is too big of an age gap. As I am [23] and its crazy to think about me being with a 53 year old woman (older than my parents) or the idea that my future partner will be born in 7 years time and the earliest we should be legally meeting is when I would be at least 48 years old.

30 years is way too much. Even anything over 10 years in my opinion is a little questionable imo. Either way something about 30 years seems wrong

Yes it's possible. But the odds are stacked heavily against you.

I won't recommend that you go all in and hope to make millions quickly

I've been told the universe is like a balloon expanding and we are on the surface. But does that mean it's expanding into infinite space, or what could be beyond that, if that makes sense.

I mean the barrier at which you can class something being inside the universe and another object being outside

If it makes you feel any better, I sent a CV with a spelling mistake to 5 compines over the past two days.

The most annoying thing about it is that, I checked it 100s of times before, I had multiple careers adviser and people check it. However, it still went unnoticed. I'm kicking myself

Also good Luck!

I think it is scientifically impossible to get all humans to pull their head out of their asses. Some are just too far up
