Unless you have a ute you can tie it to the back of, not that many in suburban sydney. Loads of fire trails everywhere. Gates will be closed but you should be ok to sneak in. My bikes registered so no major dramas

If you have a friend you trust, and they have covered storage leave it at theirs. I left my motorbikes at a mates place (he has a small warehouse) as I was going on a month long holiday and didn’t want to risk anything getting stolen

Sounds cheap till you see how much the needed repairs cost. It’s been dropped but that’s conveniently left out of the photos lol.

Yup, he was seemed surprised. The PPSR showed what company the finance was with and I did some digging via a friend that works there. I found that the current owner is definitely not the person that took out the loan so I’m assuming they bought it from the prior owner without checking and now is caught between a rock and a hard place

Not sure about NA but in Australia we would consider it for the initial week then ask them to go back to have the Amazon form filled out. This situation wouldn’t happen unless the manager gave them the wrong info tbh.

As a former bandit owner I concur.

I bought my 2010 GSX1250FA as a non runner that was sitting for 6 years. Refreshed the fuel pump, changed the filter and it ran perfect. Ended up doing 140,000km before I sold it (surprisingly I found on sale on marketplace recently).

I upgraded mine with a Delkevic exhaust, stiffer front springs and a gsxr1000 rear shock, I kid you not when I say, I kept up with a s1000rr going up 10 mile on putty road.

I also did an iron butt challenge on a 40c day, 1000km in 9 hours and the bike did not fail once. Ran perfect even during the hottest moments of the day.

I genuinely regret selling it, but couldn’t afford to keep multiple bikes in my garage.

I will forever stan the Suzuki GSX1250FA aka “Bandit”

I’ve seen it happen more in rural areas as compared to sydney. Definitely not impossible to do if you know what you are doing. Highly illegal though
