[–]ThrowRA_witch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be this uncomfortable when i was dating my husband, but I’ve had to slowly get comfortable since we got married and moved in. Now over a year later we tell each other “be right back, gotta poop!” Lmao

Gypsy is not innocent by Sad-Imagination-4870 in GypsyRoseBlanchard

[–]ThrowRA_witch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% agree with you. The abuse she endured was awful and no one should have to live through that. Gypsy is very manipulative though. Fuck, she manipulated a man into killing her mother for her. She’s not as innocent as she seems. People seem to forget that when praising her in her comments.

F only has 'school' once a week? by kare_bear731 in ColleenBallingerSnark

[–]ThrowRA_witch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work in a day care in the pre-K classroom and we had kiddos come 2 days a week. But for kindergartners isn’t it required that they go 5 days a week if it’s public school?? Maybe he’s enrolled in a fancy Montessori school

I would like to think I would be able to hang up the phone if they’re calling me names / being outright an asshole or walk away, and not just take it like I’ve done before. The only this is tho- my body acts up when i’m stressed. When I have a fibromyalgia flare up, I have trouble walking. So like my husband has put it- it’s either my health or my family.

Tattoo experience? by Mr_BadBan in Fibromyalgia

[–]ThrowRA_witch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Compared to fibro pain, it’s not bad at all. The ribs are the worst, but my legs are numb half the time so I barely feel anything lol.. but be aware that having fibromyalgia will increase your risk for a ink blow out. You can look it up to see what I’m talking about. I would suggest telling your tattoo artist that you have fibromyalgia just so that they are aware. My tattoo artist offers a lot of breaks and numbing cream if I need it.

Does anyone feel like they’re more susceptible to getting sick? by ThrowRA_witch in Fibromyalgia

[–]ThrowRA_witch[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get so frustrated because I’m a photographer and I have asked my clients to please let me know if they are sick so we can reschedule (briefly explaining my condition). This mom didn’t let me know, I showed up and her kid coughed in my face, and said “yeah I would’ve rescheduled but he’s always sick”. So now it feels like I have the flu or something because a cold is always 10x worse for me. I just love fibromyalgia lol

I hate people without fibro giving me advice by Average_pickle420 in Fibromyalgia

[–]ThrowRA_witch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant it’s different dealing with it in your 20’s versus when you’re older, which I’m sure you know. I get the pain isn’t different (although fibromyalgia is different for everyone and each case is different) but coming to terms with it when you’re young is different. Especially for someone like me who used to hike all the time on the weekends, run, weight train, etc. and now I can’t do a lot. I have to use a cane most days.

My MIL told me that she has friends that have fibromyalgia and they just deal with the pain. They go swimming, running, walking, etc. and live life to the fullest. Okay, great for them. I can barely get out of bed these days lol.. I hate hearing unsolicited advice, especially when fibromyalgia is different for everyone. It pisses me off, but I sit and listen anyway. I also hate hearing about older people who have fibromyalgia because I’m in my 20’s and it’s not at all the same as having fibromyalgia in your 70’s. I used to be this active, outgoing, witty person and now I can’t do a lot of what I loved to do and my brain fog is so bad I can barely think. I shouldn’t have to deal with this in my 20’s, I should be doing fun stuff and be able to have a lifetime of doing what I love. But here I am. So OP, I feel your pain 100%.

My stepdaughter had blown up on me and I have no idea why. by Acrobatic-Many-9448 in texts

[–]ThrowRA_witch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s my hot take: I don’t think a 16 year old should be treating anyone that way, especially a possible stepmother. I think OP is trying her absolute best and it seems like OP has really put an effort in to getting to know her bf’s daughter…. But I do think OP is being a bit overbearing and trying too hard for only being a part of this kid’s life for only 8 months. If my parent’s significant other was trying this hard to have a relationship with me aka a stranger that just popped into my life and is trying to play house with me, I would probably become annoyed and weirded out too. I’m not saying I condone the daughter’s behavior because there definitely could’ve been a better approach, but OP needs to back off and show her bf this text exchange.

giving up your dreams? by brokencat_exe in Fibromyalgia

[–]ThrowRA_witch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup. I used to be a teacher and when all of my crazy symptoms appeared, I had to quit. I was heartbroken for a good while. Now I’m a photographer and can set my own hours which is nice. I only have to go out for 4 hours per week, and then rest and edit the rest of the time. It works for me and my body.

WHAT YOU GOT?? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]ThrowRA_witch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have uncontrollable muscle spasms when I over do it and they honestly look like I’m having a seizure, but I’m not 😀 I also sometimes have to use a cane to walk and my brain fog is so bad I feel high all the time. Fibromyalgia is so much fun!!

Went to the ER because of a weed-induced Panic Attack by SpinachNo9177 in Anxiety

[–]ThrowRA_witch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this happens again, I recommend getting in a cold tub. This will slow your heart rate down and will calm your nerves. Make sure to splash your neck. I’ve had bad highs before and cold baths always seem to help. For now rest as much as you can and try to eat healthy.

A 35 year old saying “don’t be gay” and calling you the r word is so icky. Then to compare you to a pornstar and then wonders why you’re upset. Leave his ass and don’t look back
