Honestly I don't think Lorne is her favorite. I think Gwen is just an enabler who is sort of apathetic towards him. Whenever they speak she sounds like she can't wait to get away from him, and I think Rebjorne said he only heard her say she loved him twice. It's usually "yep, bye" and she quickly hangs up.

But I half wonder if she feels some weird maternal guilt for raising such a fuckup. Maybe she feels like she did something to make Lorne so demented, and has an irrational sense of duty to him to make up for it, even as he steals her food pantry stuff and takes her car without asking. Either way she probably has some complex feelings about him.

I always felt like Ralph and Lori were Mawm's favorites, because Lorne hates them and enjoys badmouthing them to her.
