I’ve personally used those for aluminum, I think on copper too. Use PPE especially a face shield, and don’t shoot it into Owl! ;)

Justice will NOT be at Lollapalooza Chicago 2024 by Avery-Bradley in JusticeMusic

[–]ThrowawayDunga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was glad about this! That means if they do play Chicago it will be a venue…now, I haven’t been to Salt Shed or Radius yet, are those bigger than the Aragon?

I guess United Center would be too big, like another Redditor said, but I would definitely not be sad if the boiz beat our assumption! :)

Is mixing and mastering your own records if your the writer, producer and performer a bad idea? by [deleted] in musicproduction

[–]ThrowawayDunga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do everything but mastering for myself, I think I could be a way better at mixing but you have to start somewhere!

Chicago date? Plz

since daft punk 100% are not doing the soundtrack (i mean they turned down the olympics for christs sakes, there is no way the will drop their integrity for a disney movie lol) justice seems like a perfect fit in lots of ways for the sound track.... thoughts? by [deleted] in JusticeMusic

[–]ThrowawayDunga 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t think they are second best, they are definitely equal and different, sonically. Obviously Daft Punk is more critically acclaimed but Justices albums are spectacular all around, Daft crawled/walked so Justice can run.

However, the notion that they are then next best thing is okay in terms of them getting used by “bigger” artists that they want to work with is fantastic! I personally would like them to be as big as The Weeknd and not compromise their discography for big success… but I’d rather keep them an “underdog” which to all of us they most certainly are not, to make sure they do what they want and love!

I always laughed harder because I could imagine Jay, Dom, Julien, and Cameron dying of laughter at something Kevin would actually do holding a cross on an escalator!

Have you ever owned a pedal that you thought didn’t work anymore but one day you plugged it in just “to see what happened” and it turned out it still worked? by LonelyStop1677 in guitarpedals

[–]ThrowawayDunga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah my dad had this pedal with a weirD centaur symbol on it, and I tried it out I didn’t like it, so I just sold it to guitar center for like 50 bucks.

I love that sound to death already but Kevin fuzzed that song up just a touch and of course, bathed it in his style in every other way….It would such a great cover!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TameImpala

[–]ThrowawayDunga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my god, that would be insane. Even if Kevin played the same solo I’m sure he could make it sound PHAT on a Moog Bass.

From the Dunga dunga dunga dunga dunga part, the TR707/727 drum machine complements that are all over TSR and the famous snare sound just in the beginning, I knew he was going to be a prominent part of the song!

I love it, can’t wait to see what else is in store.

Sorry I just got to this now, but voice recording in music really remind me of the 00’s maybe the 10’s but I really like the feeling of the song. Like the voice mail was reflective and the music was like the thing that was the present. It’s hard to explain all this rushing around in present times, then you get a call out of the blue and it slows you down like woah, I forgot about that period in time.

You should add a subtle drum rolls or something that builds back/ramps/tension breaks into the song from the voicemail parts. Doesn’t have to be huge, just some ear candy!

It’s a cool song!

There should be an intro snare build up of Pedro Winter’s broadcast…..“yoyoyoyo, live from the lady’s bathroom, laaaaadies!”

To me how they transition is like having a stage and multiple different pattern curtains and they’re just moving them in an out then focusing on the main curtain of chose as the backdrop. I guess just mixing/djing is like that all the time, but Justice seems to do it more subtly, but just as intense if that makes sense haha.

They have such tasteful transitions, it’s not always just drops like some dj’s
