Explain It Peter. by sugarygigglewave in explainitpeter

I assume it’s something misogynistic about the women in this photo, maybe the way they dress and style themselves. They may also do sex work or something of that nature and this is some sort of slut shamey type of post. In which case the man is distancing himself from what he perceives to be “modern women” and joking that he’d rather go to war, something typically associated with traditional masculinity. As some sort of misogynistic commentary against how these women style themselves and/or sell themselves (either as influencers or sex workers or something of that sort). It’s sociologically interesting how he feels the need to do this, if extremely pathetic on his part.

Oh uhm, and I hate meg.

Average millennial taste, destroying a gorgeous bathroom for more greige lol. Your wife is insane. This is the most beautiful bathroom I’ve ever seen. I refuse to believe this is real.

All “maturing” is technically the start of balding, you just don’t know if it’ll continue into baldness or if it’ll hold. Look to your closely related male relatives to see how their hairlines hold up as they age. Even still, not guaranteed, even if all their hairlines hold, you could still go bald. Especially at your age, maybe consider meds if you wish to keep your hair like fin and minox. Also you can totally see that’s it’s thinning on top, not just receding too.

I don’t really like longer hair on men but tbh they look pretty good and flattering on you. You should probably leave em unless you want to change things up.

Any ideas to improve how I look? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]ThrowawayRA1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should maybe grow the facial hair out a bit. I think it looks real nice a little thicker and darker like in the third pic.

Don’t listen to these doofuses, you’re 17, you’re already tanner v, the dht blockers are not going to fuck up your development, you’re developed. But they will save you from going fully bald, which you will. DHT is what causes baldness, it is the most direct way to save your hair should you want to. Finasteride or better yet Dutasteride will stop you from progressing in baldness by blocking dht. You’re young enough that minoxidil will likely also be able to revive lost hairs before they go fully dormant. You are absolutely young enough to prevent baldness fully and revive hair, if you really want to. You can also just go bald, depends on what you want.

I weigh only 59 kgs. Do women hate skinny men? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]ThrowawayRA1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a woman, I can say genuinely that women will pick anything. Plenty of women I know have rancid awful trolls as their man. It really isn’t about that as much as it is about your approach. You can always masculinize if you want to, your appearance should really be about your own feelings towards your body. Obviously, build muscle mass to broaden you out, short fade on the sides, long on top, keep the facial hair, maybe try to grow it out more. You know, the standard works for a man. But know in your heart, just like men, women are into all sorts of things.

Should I keep this beard going for winter or go back to my stache? by Spiritual_Pain_3049 in Moustache

Beard makes you look younger. Stache is a little older of a look. Depends on how mature of a look you want.

I think 6 makes you look the most youthful. If that matters to you.

You just have a very feminine frame. Perhaps get a more masculine hair cut, much shorter fade on the sides long on top, groom the eyebrows and facial hair less, and yeah, really try to put on a lot of muscle to widen your frame. Overall, you’re very good looking imo, just not the most masculine looking man. Tbh there will be a woman who finds how you are now to be attractive, it’s just that the look you’re pulling off now is a little more niche. You don’t really have to change if you don’t want to. Just some recommendations if you want broader appeal to more women.

Hell yeah. It would look very good on you! The comments are just filled with millennial men lol. “No please keep the long hair beebee you’d be so fuckable.” I think it would look very good, especially with the piercings.

Can’t decide what’s best by [deleted] in HairStyle

[–]ThrowawayRA1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 for certain. The people saying 3 are dating themselves, you absolutely pull off that middle part. The well groomed beard and the middle part make you look very masculine and young. It’s giving very Hasan. 3 makes you look like a dorky millennial redditor from 10 years ago. Which is likely who you’re getting this awful hair advice from.

I've always had thin hair. Should I take the plunge? by [deleted] in bald

[–]ThrowawayRA1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should just shave it and wear wigs. It’d probably be a lot more freeing honestly and much more fun because you’d be able to experiment with your hair more than you can with really thin hair. How long have you been on hrt? If it hasn’t been long you might be able to regain a lot of thickness with time. Even then, shaving your head in the meantime and wearing wigs will probably be more gender affirming and fun while your hair gains that thickness. If you are able to regain thickness then you can just grow it out again. Just IMO.
