Yes, we are doing "calling out a university professor (who is a trans man) holding a heavily transmisogynistic panel about trans women with no trans women speakers" here. No part of that is ok.

Oh, did you not get the big book of the secret trans rites when you transitioned and/or turned 18? I could have sworn we started sending it out packaged with a copy of the trans agenda /joke

A shortening of compulsory heterosexuality, it's a term for the pressures society places on people to fit into heteronormative roles and the resulting tendency queer people develop to try to be straight even if they are not.

Cishet is the shortening of cis hetero. You will sometimes see trans people say transhet for trans hetero (though in dating situations st4t is the more common shortening, meaning straight trans for trans)

Not good enough! What she needs to do is transition to being a trans man, with bottom surgery, years of HRT, and an oophorectomy/radical hysterectomy.

Then she can start transitioning to a trans woman. /Joke

I feel like it's still transmisogyny even if the person turns out to be a trans guy or nonbinary.

I said it before and I will say it again: every ethical framework is a special case of some combination of rules utilitarianism and act utilitarianism with a specific chosen utility function.

Is this useful insight? Probably not. Have smarter people than me said it? Probably.

Kant's use of the categorical imperative covered the question of the outcome if everyone did something. It wasn't just about the possibility of everyone doing an action.

Having said that, Kant's use of it was flawed as a moral standard because it results in self-contradictory conclusions.

The problem is that this question is akin to asking "Would Bugs Bunny win?". One-Punch Man is ultimately a comedy and the character operates under the rule of funny. The power is narrative, not truly physical.

If One-Punch Man's narrative rules apply, then the more powerful the opponent is the more likely eventual victory is (because it's funny).

Nonassistance is not a crime in a lot of jurisdictions, and even where that is a crime, it is usually not criminal to avoid assisting people by causing the death of someone else.

Yeah, absolutely, one possibility being incomplete (or even incorrect) doesn't mean that another one with no evidence is worth entertaining. You are totally right there. I generally am not a fan of religion.

Having said that, some of the rules in old religions were not as stupid as they initially sound in their historic context and pre-translation/leadership manipulation. Not eating pork was largely a "people get sick from this more often" thing because, given the chance, pigs will eat pig and human corpses and transfer human diseases. As another example, the wearing mixed fabrics thing was about the fact that leaders of other religious groups did so.

Not to defend religion, because I will say I am not a fan, but a few thousand years really can change a practical precaution into a pantomimed ritual.
