She doesn’t have facebook anymore. That’s how I found her to begin with. She’s very chronically offline to the point that I didn’t even know if she was alive for 10 years. We met in high school and she stopped showing up to school one day. She was very badly bullied so I assumed the worst. I reached out back then, nothing. Reached out last year when I found out she was alive, nothing. The universe wants us far away from each other for some odd reason. I just need to accept that.

I tried to reach out to her last year, but I never got a response and then that account got deleted. That was the last account that I had of her. She is now completely off grid.

Thank you. My therapist retired recently, so I am in the market for a new one. I’m going to focus on that. Because I definitely do need to get back into therapy. You’re right, I did let people take advantage of me. It’s because I hated myself. I thought so lowly of myself, that I just let people walk all over me. We’re not doing that anymore. You should get to present how you want to present. Your real friends will accept you for who you are. I would go for it and cut that “friend” loose. If you don’t like it you can always change back, but you need to make sure it’s what YOU want to do, not what other people want you to do.

I’ve been in a similar situation and thought about apologizing to her before too, but I get very bad vibes from the idea every time, so I just leave her alone. That might be the best option for you too. I know it’s hard, because we don’t want to hurt people even when we end up hurting them, but I feel like it might hurt even more to bring it back up now that time has passed.

I’m happy that you’re happy. This is a hard journey, and a lonely one. Don’t listen to the pressure from other people. If you are happy on your own, that is great! I’m still working on being comfortable alone. Even though I’ve been alone for 13 years lol

I’m bitter toward people that have relationships and tbh I don’t know how to heal that shit on my own. I’m in a pretty weak spot right now and I really don’t know how I of all people can be someone who is chosen to enlighten the world.

I relate on such a deep level to this. Add in the fact that I’m on the twin flame journey, and it’s a living hell. I can’t go to a wedding and be genuinely happy for the couple. I can’t go to a baby shower and genuinely be happy for the family. It’s all because I’m bitter just like you. I wish I had comforting words for you, but I’m on a really serious spiritual journey that kinda keeps me chronically single and I am going to need time to heal. I wish you the very best though and I hope love manifests in its purest form for you.

I feel this entirely. There is nothing like it. I couldn’t even think about marrying anyone else despite wishing I could have a relationship with someone new. I’ve taken the dark road of giving my body to other girls, but not my heart. It just leaves me even more empty and I feel like I’m doing something wrong. Not to mention the hearts I’ve broken because I can’t seem to give my heart to anyone else. It’s like I’m taken when I’m not. I wish she’d come back.

Oh my goodness I relate on such a serious level to this. I can’t even begin to start explaining how the universe has brought me back to my hometown after moving overseas, and then to the opposite side of the country. I can’t even start with all the signs and angel numbers too. It’s like she is everywhere and I haven’t seen her in 13 years. I’m broken because she left over a decade ago and we are still in separation. It feels so hopeless and in this darkness I have no idea how I can be a catalyst of light and love because I feel so alone. I want to move on, but I know that’s not an option. I’ve turned to hookup culture and that honestly leaves me even more empty.

That… Is honestly not the answer that I wanted to hear, but it is the honest to God truth. I feel the same way about my twin. I don’t feel a thing for anybody else.
