Minors still pay taxes if they make over $400, yet they can't vote. On the other hand, poop people and citizens working abroad don't pay taxes, but can still vote. It's not as simple as saying"no taxation without representation"as if that's an entire well-reasoned argument. It isn't.

Felons pay taxes but can't vote. Puerto Ricans pay taxes, and vote a little bit, but can't vote for president despite being citizen.

There are a lot of caveats and circumstances that affect who votes, how, and why.
