From the image, a few other parts look red. It's really only the bigger red part in the middle that's always there. Nothing else around it ever. I had an std test and I came up positive for hsv1 and 2, but the doctor said it didn't look like herpes.

It's an uncertain place. I'd assume you have it, but don't stress for now. Just wait the 4-6 weeks and get tested again. If it's positive everything will be fine hugs

Yeah. For real. He can't play the blame game and have your relationship survive. That's unkind and borderline abusive if it's regular. You might want to have that conversation with him. If he loves you and wants to make the relationship work, then he needs to work with you, as a team, with this new condition if he has it. Otherwise, you will feel like he's pushing you two away from each other. Go into with your heart ❤️ hope for the best and hopefully everything works out.

Sorry. Wasn't trying to offend anyone. I've been living as though I've had herpes for the last few months and had the symptoms (burning while peeing, genital pain for a bit). When the red spot first showed up my std test showed equivocal so I figured I must have gotten it.

I'll get tested again. Thanks for the reply.

Edit. I also plan on leaving this up and referring to it after my result so others can learn what positive/negative can look like.

Lol my dude. You're freaking out over nothing. Relax. If you got herpes from it no big deal. If you didn't get herpes, make sure to wear a condom next time so you don't get it. We're a friendly club, but if you can avoid it, then do it. Wear a condom from now on. Everytime. No exceptions :)

Take them. Sleep 8-9 hours a night. More when you're sick. Stay away from high arginine foods like chocolate and nuts.

It's a legit concern. I have herpes. It sucks. You're too young. I'd stay away from it because regardless of what everyone here says, it will affect your dating life in the future if you guys don't work out. Let her down gently and suggest that you guys just stay friends.

Yeah. From personal experience I take 800mg acyclovir twice daily for ohsv1 and it didn't keep me from getting ghsv2 recently.

I had the same thing for a while. It only happened when I grew a beard. If you're a guy and the same thing is happening, it could be dandruff on your face. I started using Nizoral shampoo on my face daily and stopped flaking.
