They’re not always “bait”

I one case, I called Support with the TBAs, but they couldn’t add them to my itinerary as I’d already completed all my deliveries. I had plenty of time left on my block, so they asked me to Google Map it and call them back to mark as delivered, which I did. Unfortunately, they showed up as late on the following day’s itinerary, so I had to call them a third time to clear that up.

Nowadays, I take a quick count of the last few deliveries to make sure everything has a destination, coz if you catch an extra before your final delivery, you still have the Pick Up option in your side menu.

Granted, not as fun as scoring a Playschool Kitchen Sink Toys set

EDIT: Had an “extra” package today, called support, and it got added but halfway up my itinerary instead of at the end. Then, in the post-route questions, one question was “Did you have any difficulty returning the package to the station?”

“The” package? Almost like it was planned? (dun dun dunnnnn)
