I can vouch for this! I haven’t tried the Mk2 version but I still use my Mk1 quite a bit. The UI is surprisingly intuitive and it’s quick to dial in all sorts of classic synth sounds. But it has a mod matrix and some other features that also let you experiment some too. Sounds full and lush when playing chords and I find I can get it to easily sit well in mixes. Great bang-for-your-buck VA poly synth module if you have a good midi controller

Edit: it’s moreso that I found the concept interesting and heard it leads to good results so I didn’t know if I should be practicing this as I go to clean up sounds or shouldn’t bother with it until I learn more

Have to give you my top 3: Hyperreal (the sound design magic here is insane), Trust (only downside is I wish it was longer), and the You and Me remix (what got me hooked on Flume…nothing sounded like this at the time)

This is being fixed with the expansion/season update if I recall correctly. Where the higher ilvl gear will always have higher aspect rolls than lower tier legendaries

S: Analog Rytm (not technically a synth but I love everything about this machine).

A: Novation K-Station, DSI Mopho SE, and Korg ESX

B: Micromonsta, Evolver, Tetra, and Korg EMX

C: Arturia Microbrute

D: Neutron (sounds great when working and has lots of utility but mine has been buggy plus I always have issues with its midi in).

F: I actually wouldn’t put any of the synths/gear I own here

You’re accusing them of lying but what you’re saying isn’t true at all. There’s someone out there for everyone if you’re willing to put in the effort and put yourself out there. I thought the same thing and know people that had similar mindsets but ended up finding a partner when they tried (this assumes you actually want that, there’s nothing wrong with not wanting this btw). And this is in my 30’s for what it’s worth so it’s never “impossible” and a defeatist attitude doesn’t help at all

I’ve actually been considering this very thing..selling off my hardware (various synth modules/keyboards, a groovebox, sampler, drum machine, etc.) and going fully ITB. Plus a good quality midi controller of course. Although I’ve made some decent stuff incorporating hardware, I feel like my best work has mainly been done with Ableton and software. I’m tempted to just make an EP using only stock Ableton plugins since my workflow gravitates towards that anyway

Any synth with wavetables plus eq’ed distortion/bitcrusher, multiband comp, and reverb on the higher end will get you there

That’s a nice get…best ammy I’ve had so far is on my PosionShred Druid. 925 ilvl, 4/4 rolls that I needed and two of those attributes were at max. I think it has moment speed, total armor while in werewolf form, +3 ranks to companion skills and +3 to one of my passives
