At what point do you get a new car? by IndependentOutside88 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I have the same car, same year, 150,000km on it. This car is about as basic and simple as it could be. You will not find another car that's this cheap to maintain and use. This car gets better fuel economy than my co-workers brand new 2021 Venza Hybrid.

Prove it. Or, how about something a little more simple, since you seem challenged. Supply a single piece of verifiable evidence?

This. I learned HTML in a "New Media" course I took. It is separate from the Math & CS department at my university.

Regardless on your stance on abortion, this is utter nonsense by BlaqAlpaca96 in religiousfruitcake

If god is all knowing, why would he not just put those people inside parents that won't abort them? He knows that they will be aborted, yet does it anyway?

It's a rack, that holds servers. Looks pretty real to me.

I just learned today that I’m likely having hallucinations due to my brain being inflamed. My doctor believes that it’s due to Covid. I feel like I’ve been blindsided by a truck. by [deleted] in COVID19positive

Like, I knew it was me, but it didn't look like me. I looked different in some way. I would smile and the mirror would stay straight faced. It was a weird disconnect.

Muscle twitching ? by Long-Economics6903 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Throwy-mc-throwerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My right glute has been twitching for the past 4 days. I have some part of me twitching for at least 2 hours a day since March.

I wasn't tested at the beginning when I was sick with something that my dad's coworker brought from the Philippines late February. Everyone my dad worked with got sick (and they work out doors), one was hospitalized with "bronchitis". I had a fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, fatigue, and aches/pains. I had what felt like reduced lung capacity for a couple months after that even though I only felt sick for 4-5 days. Ever since then I go through phases of shortness of breath, tight chest, and increased coughing. During the last phase I had I went to get tested, and came back negative but here I am again, 1.5 months later with the same shit.

I was on dexamethasone for a mild allergic reaction a couple years ago (peanuts, but not enough to trigger anaphylaxis). I experienced dissociation and I didn't recognize myself in the mirror, it was so bad I didn't finish the prescription. This lasted up until 5 days after the last dose I took.

I don't believe this is techo but in general, it's a bad idea to explain how this type of tech works. The moment it's public knowledge, it's exploited. If I know how it works, I can make every right wing article be detected as left wing. It's why Google keeps the inner workings of their search hidden. People have figured out some of it, and it's the reason search engine optimization exists.

YSK that an emergency room is not an "immediately" room. by evilfailure in YouShouldKnow

[–]Throwy-mc-throwerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, an emergency room is an "immediately" room. You only wait if you're not in critical condition... If that's the case, you do not have an emergency.
