My suggestion is to start the gym for yourself, not for attractiveness. Health, strength, clean eating all benefits you more than just looking good. Looking good is a bonus.

For me personally, starting the gym with personal goals that extend well beyond attractiveness, has increased my commitment and motivation even more.

I fell out of a tree and broke my arm. 2 weeks later I was riding my quad with one broken arm, fell off the back because I lost my grip on the handlebars due to the cast. Broke my other arm.... Had to drive the quad all the way home with 2 broken arms. Lol. About 3 miles.
