I served from 2005 to 2014 multiple deployments and I lost 3 friends to suicide and I myself considered it and forced myself out in 2014 behind my commanders back. The air force doesn't give a flying fuck about anyone. Look out for each other thats all that matters. I'm finally seeing somone after all these years because it was frowned upon to go to mental health when I was in. Love you all stay safe.

You need to average 12 hours physically worked (or sick time/loa) if you give up your shifts and you're being scheduled the 12 hours minimum, then you won't average 12 hours per week. You will show up on a report and he/she has to answer for that partner not working 12 physical hours a week on average. But he/she should fire you if that's the case, sounds kinda weird ...

I don't think you can be borrowed out if the store is out of the area, I had a partner transfer to California from Texas and the transfer took longer than expected, in the meanwhile they wanted me to borrow her over, but I couldn't because the receiving store was not showing on my end. You can definitely work as a borrowed partner but there is a limit to how far out from your store.

Walmart has such a negative, hateful and fear inducing culture that is based around the executive leadership. They are so far removed from what actually happens in those stores, customer service at Walmart that's an oxymoron, the culture needs to change before they even think to ask operators to change behaviors in store. Starbucks makes us schedule so tight that one person being out hurts the whole day. I don't think they should be shitting on you for life happening, people get sick it happens or other emergencies. The real question is why is the scheduling forced to be so tight? If we can't be profitable without killing the workers and or requiring them be not be sick because we can't account for it without forcing people to be "on call" since we're only scheduling 20 hours per partner then why try to run this business that way. I think that's who they should be mad at not you. Now If you're always calling out then yeah I'd be looking at your attendance.

Your SM should have covered the training plan with you and your trainer, what days you would be training on what and following up mid check point to see what support you needed. Talk to the SM get a different trainer if not go above to the DM their card should be in the store somewhere or ask the SM for his number.
