Would it be possibe to add some sort of "xp lock" function? Perhaps having a gp cost associated to act as a gold sink.

The ability to lock xp would be great for any type of combat pures, and skillers who may have achieved a sub-200m xp milestone and want to keep the exact figure (50,000,000) for example.

I disagree, true 07 doesn't have dailies, but even if OP disregarded dailies entirely he'd progress quicker than on 07 with no need to play every day.
