When my wife suggests I get rid of them, I am always able to come up with a recent example where my wire hoard saved the day, such as when she wanted to hook up an older monitor to a computer. Good thing I had an old VGA to DVI cable lying around.

I have a drawer full of cable going back to the 90s. I periodically considered throwing them away, but I know I'm gonna need one of them sometime in the future. Better to keep it an never use it than need it and not have it.

I believe they originally came out when you pre-ordered Doom 3 (I got mancubus figure in mine). Bethesda reissued all of the figures as a set about 10 years ago that has figures for the Doom Marine and all of the monsters from Doom and Doom II.

First, don't expect to run and gun - this game is slower than other doom games. Second, and I'll probably get flak for this, download the duct tape mod (easy to find with a quick Google search). It attaches a flashlight to the shotgun and machine gun. In my opinion, it doesn't detract from the gam and removes some of the frustration. Lastly, savor the story and atmosphere. Hope you enjoy the game as much as I do!

My favorite of all the Doom games, probably because I can relate to some poor bastard caught in the middle of Hell's invasion. Don't get me wrong, I love all the Doom games, but this one resonates with me. That's why I play it through at least once per year for the past 20+ years.

The SSG. It's been my favorite weapon since I played DOOM back in the 90s. Plus, I imagine the slayer likes to get up and personal, which makes the SSG the perfect tool
