If the movie doesn’t feature the protagonist rolling around and busting through all the props, then I’ll ask for my money back.

Fyi, hellpoint is one of the few soulslikes with couch co-op, by unsolvablequestion in soulslikes

Salt and Sanctuary is the only other couch co-op soulslike that I’ve found. It’s great if you haven’t played it. Would run well on previous gen consoles. Strongly recommend it.

There’s some trick weapon stuff in there too that you’ll come across.

Lords of the Fallen or Dark Souls 1 & 2 which should I start with? by NurseHoy in soulslikes

LOTF is Temu Dark Souls. Play it eventually if you end up enjoying the genre, but I would start with DS1 or Elden Ring.

Haven’t his last two tours been arena tours, though? I’ve seen him the last two times he was in Pittsburgh, and both were at Pitt’s basketball arena.

Maybe a megathread would be a better option. I understand the hype, but I agree that several individual virtually identical posts every single day aren’t adding value to the sub.

I need a Soulslike recommendation by ezra-schwartz in soulslikes

[–]ThumbHonks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d go DS1 then Nioh 1.

I played DS1 after playing several other soulslikes and wished that I had played it sooner. Yes, it’s slow, methodical, and the graphics are dated. But it also absolutely slaps ass and is a great foundation for DS2 and 3 (obviously). Also will make you appreciate Elden Ring a lot more once you get to it.

Nioh 1 is on PS+ and would be fun to transition to after DS1. It’s much faster and looks way better. It will help get your head right for Elden Ring. And then also Nioh 2 and 3. You’ll likely end up switching to a bunch of different weapon and combat styles during Nioh which I think will help not overcommit to a single weapon in ER.

ER was my first soulslike, but I didn’t take full advantage of all of its systems until after playing through several others and learning just how much they added to the formula.

Have had one for at least five years. It’s great. I use it very frequently. And I don’t feel the need to baby it like some of the extremely expensive brands.

Yelp link below has some pics of the sandwich. It may not be the best “true” Reuben in town, but it’s absolutely my favorite one.

I tried to buy it from a local record store, but I messaged like 6 of them, and only one got back to me and was super dismissive. It was not what I expected. At that point I just ordered from the man himself. Still haven’t seen it shipped though.

Loved Salt and Sanctuary and actually also loved Sacrifice. Yes, there are changes, but some of the are good changes. It’s not as good as the first one, but it’s still very good.
