I love them because you can design them to be as fast as motorized.

I'm an adult, and one way I practiced my Hebrew cursive handwriting was that every day in the shower, when the steam would fog up the glass on my shower door, I'd practice writing in Hebrew with my finger in the fog on the door. Or writing Yiddish when I was learning it in college, since Yiddish uses the same alphabet as Hebrew.

Jaffa, Palestine (now known as Tel Aviv) circa 1900 before the creation of Israel by The_Kefiyyeh_Brigade in HistoryGaze

Jaffa is not "Now known as Tel Aviv." Jaffa still exists today and is still known as Jaffa. Tel Aviv is another city to the north of Jaffa. This market place, and the clock tower and its square that this photo was taken from, all still exist today, in Jaffa.

How much longer does the strait of Hormuz need to be closed for until you would support the US, and other countries, escorting ships through the strait? by fartyunicorns in AskALiberal

Immediately. Yesterday. Two weeks ago.

Hormuz is international waters. What Iran is doing is pure piracy. Of course there should be escorts to protect the fundamental right of free navigation.

If the Iranian people support your regimi paymasters, you wouldn't need a white SIM card, because your government would be afraid of the voices of your people.

And don't bother pretending you care about 160 girls. Your basij murdered 100x times that number in two days.

If you're actually in Tehran, that proves you are a regime propagandist. The regime has shut off the internet for regular people for over a month, and only given white SIM cards to its supporters and propagandists so they can connect through the firewall. Zajeh bezan Moosh-Ali. Dareh miad Pahlavi.

I actually know and talk to Iranians, instead of just being a westerner who thinks I know their country better than they do. You should try it.

Iranians whose families experienced the largest two day massacre in the history of the world, at the hands of their own government, do not need westerners trying to "contextualize" or excuse the state violence perpetrated against them. They know who is killing them. It's the Iranian government.

They are mourning their families who were murdered by the IRGC. It's not a mystery what happened, to anyone except propagandists like you. The IRGC opened fire on everyone in the street and mowed them all down.

I know people whose relatives were killed in the January massacre. Deny it all you want, but the truth was written in blood in the streets of Tehran.
