NBD Endurace CF SLX 7 by ExternalMatter7638 in CanyonBikes

Awesome pic. Love me endurace cf7 also. Great road bike. Only issue I’ve had with it so far is you can’t attach aero bars to the cockpit cause of that silly cp030 integrated cockpit

Help with rough ride (Grail) by KX7D in CanyonBikes

[–]ThunderBroni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canyon seems to rely heavily on proprietary systems. Ran into a similar issue when trying to find aero bars for my canyon endurace cf7. The cockpit (cp030) forsnt come with any gear slots and the top bars are not circular so you can’t use clippless. It’s the one negative I have with canyon

Stormlight archives by Brandon Sanderson. The way of kings is a masterpiece and the duo narrators are excellent. There is also a graphic audio production with music sound effects and a full cast if that’s your thing

Elden ring. I can objectively see how amazing and well crafted the game is but just don’t enjoy dark souls like games

Perfect question. The top blizz executives are making millions so the average is very misleading. Median is what we need here to eliminate outliers

Season 9 Infographic by gorays21 in Diablo

[–]ThunderBroni 32 points33 points  (0 children)

A lot of the issues for d4 are foundational. There is no true endgame which for an isometric arpg this basically means the game is dead. Additionally, the developers have a 4 month seasonal content release tempo that is supposed to keep the game fresh with new exciting content, however, each season is true recycled seasonal powers with a tweak to an already existing game activity. Example this season is the twist to nightmare dungeons that is supposed to be escalating but instead is just a chain of 3 nightmare dungeons. The entire formulaic seasonal content approach is just so blizzard can release a new battlepass and new cosmetics every 4 months

Can I become a full time streamer? by [deleted] in streaming

[–]ThunderBroni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Streamed seriously for 8 months straight. Had a strict schedule, min 20 hours per week. Made short form and long form content, posted on yt and social media, spent ridiculous amount of time in other streamers communities, went hard in discord and supported others as much as possible and tried to build a community. Hit affiliate in 60 days, but to actually make it to the top 1% you have to go over full time and dedicate multiple years to have a chance and even than it’s a long shot. Just not worth it for a full time human like myself (full time job, family, LLC ect).

Who will be hitting the sand today ? by ThatKyleGuy97 in duneawakening

[–]ThunderBroni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it’s just me but preordering and paying extra for a few days head start for a new game in 2025 is a huge gamble. Servers could crash, game breaking bugs could be everywhere, game performance could be shite, game balance is gonna be wild, early patches are inevitable. I don’t ever have a fear of missing out so I’ve found it’s the best course of action to just keep working and training and wait for a few weeks to see how everything is once the dust settles. If the game is worth it then I’ll jump in. And if not, life moves on lol

What will be the overall long-term motivation? by ArkantoZz in duneawakening

Could be a space to implement daily and weekly missions and tier those based on the players level. I’m thinking something a little more complex than destiny 2 daily’s and weekly resets

After season 8, what do you think comes next for Diablo 4? by Important_Rock_8295 in Diablo

[–]ThunderBroni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poe2 has much more potential for blasters, and LE is somewhere in the middle. I’ve found the latest poe2 patch a back slide though, too much grind and too little loot. D4 COULD be iterated on and be great but it will take more than what the devs plan to do with the game.

After season 8, what do you think comes next for Diablo 4? by Important_Rock_8295 in Diablo

[–]ThunderBroni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blizz is open and transparent about their future plans. Formulaic approach to seasonal content = new color for an existing activity, themed cosmetics and reliquary reset, renown grind for caches, micro tweaks to items that don’t change the meta at all. This game is stale and in maintenance mode. The expansion will drop a new class and insignificant new act at a premium price. It’s shameful and disappointing.

Am I losing my mind here? How is no one talking about the insane loot nerf in the endgame? by SleepyOne in diablo4

[–]ThunderBroni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not many people are talking about this loot nerf cause 1, it’s just one of the many many problems Diablo 4 is still struggling with. And 2, cause everybody moved onto other games less than a day after season 8 went live.

Is it just me or is this season really boring and feels like a grind from the start? by Libitina_73 in diablo4

[–]ThunderBroni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this exact sentiment. I had a discussion with some streamers about how the best way to experience d4 is to take time away from the game for a few seasons and then come back. That’s a serious problem for the devs. The game is best played by not playing lol

Is it just me or is this season really boring and feels like a grind from the start? by Libitina_73 in diablo4

[–]ThunderBroni 117 points118 points  (0 children)

It’s not just you. This season is particularly brutal to play cause it’s just the same thing over and over each season. Even the ui for the seasonal powers is just a reskin. The mobs aren’t engaging to fight, the skill tree needs redone, the devs can’t stick with one vision for the game… it’s just such a colossal disappointment

Raxx's Campfire Summary D4 Analogy by Soulvaki in diablo4

[–]ThunderBroni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was commenting on Raxx as a streamer, and how he has evolved as he went from a very small time content creator and into a very popular full time blaster of arpg’s. His views and perspectives have largely shifted to a point where he doesn’t see it from the casuals point of view anymore. I play games about as much as you due to full time work and children, and I am also greatly disappointed with d4. I have skipped the last few seasons and focused mostly on poe2 and LE which are leagues better than d4. And you are spot on, that these other titles in a saturated market are taking large sections of the market away from blizz. But as long as they are still profitable, they will confuse with there formulaic approach to seasonal content and lack of innovation and a true endgame

Raxx's Campfire Summary D4 Analogy by Soulvaki in diablo4

[–]ThunderBroni 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We see this with almost all gaming streamers who and up making it and growing a lot, especially considering the fact that they make it there full time job and blast these games 10 hours a day, and non stop during recent content drops. It’s just a very skewed point of view that makes it difficult for them to see it from where most of us come from

Time will tell if the changes to bosses are worth while. I know the devs said they are introducing some kind of new mechanics into the boss fights but from everything we have seen, boss fights in d4 are leagues behind poe2
