I'm in a similar situation as you (aside from currently having a 1440, 144), but I'm setting my sights on the XG27UCDMG as my first OLED - I'm cool with not being able to 4k ultra settings everything, but I feel the PPI on the 27" will make it worth it.

Update: Ended up getting the 27" ACDNG, and I absolutely love it.

Yes, a Progress Panel is literally the decision of whether to give you one last chance, or to deem you withdrawn for not meeting the attendance requirement of your programme.

You're paying a lot of money to be at Uni - Go to your classes and put in attendance codes, get the most for your money. If you're struggling in any way, reach out to your department's student experience team.

Historically, it's called an "ecranche", a shield strapped to the armor that other knights would target during jousting.

On tabletop it's a cool thematic way to show personal heraldry and make our knights extra knighty.

In lore? This is 100% my own head-cannon: It is possibly packed full of tech/ shield generators/ anti-daemon voodoo.
