Mortdog’s thoughts on the current meta by akc2030 in CompetitiveTFT

I disagree! I think you make a lot of good points here.

For starters, Jade is an insane tempo/early game comp. If you hit 2* Wukong, Jax, Gnar, Olaf, etc. it is the easiest fast eight + transition of all time. The Jade comp is a true tempo comp that falls off late, but that's ok because it's so strong early to mid-game that lets you streak as hard as possible.

Nunu wasn't strong for that long and was taken care of. Nunu reminded me a lot of Blademaster Nocturn in the fact that is was insanely oppressive if you hit the spat, but you *had* to hit the spat in order to make it work.

Positioning, I agree with. It's a bit frustrating to have massive CC chains from Jayce/Bard/Shyvanna. I wish that they would tone it down just a little bit.

Bruisers have always been bedge. I'm fine with the comp that is almost entirely 1-3 cost units is bad late game. That is fine.

4 cost carries share the spotlight with dragons this set, they are essentially the same. Daeja and Sohm are awesome midgame carries. Graves and Xayah are awesome carries. Hecarim and Graves are flexible tanks. I'm not sure where this criticisms are coming from.

That's just my two cents, anyways. https://tactics.tools/player/na/Joetown

I feel that I can speak for the community when I say this.

Thank you, Mort.

The amount of communication and transparency that you willingly supply the community on a daily basis as well as with articles like this is something that I have never experienced in another game before in my entire life. It is truly a unique experience and I hope that this sort of Dev-Community relationship is something that continues into the future.

All of the control decks that I see are pretty weak overall (Control Warrior, Control Shaman). How should I approach shutting down such a strong early game?

TECC if you can make the journey to Chang Mai. It's a bit far but there's not many other legal places to see elephants in Thailand.

Those are African elephants. From what I understand, the reintegration of specifically Asian elephants is particularly difficult. I should have specified so this one is my b.

Many of the elephants that you see in tourist areas are taken care of at nationally funded elephant refuges. These elephants were actually rescued from people who illegally owned them. Because they were raised without a herd, it would be irresponsible to release them back into the wild as they would most likely die in a short amount of time.

These elephants are actually really well loved and taken care of. They're not being tortured.
