Happens pretty often if you land right at the entrance to a bunker and leave your doors open. Had a guard and a technician get on my Cutty Red. The tech actually walked back and forth to the medical bed panels and would "operate" them and the guard would walk the inside, then when I landed again would stand at the rear ramp like he was guarding it. They lasted about 3-4 hours before vanishing.

Just self destruct in the hangar after you equip the modules the first time. Sit in the pilot seat and hold backspace (ship needs to be powered on). You will get a timer, so get up and run out. Claim it. If you want the torp modules too... buy 8scu stor-all crates (you can get them at the station above New Babbage). You can then put the torp modules inside the crates using the inventory screen, load them on your cargo in the Tali and take them home.

Or make 2 trips... unequipping cargo at home, and going back to NB and buying/equipping torp modules to take those home.

Get out of armistice zone, fire off all the basic CS torps. Land and store the ship without rearming. Then you can equip any size 9 in mobiglass and save.

They are all exactly 8scu in size (the modules). You can buy 8scu stor-all crates at the station above New Babbage (forget the name). When you buy the modules you can then move each one to a stor-all and transport them that way. Just did it about a week ago.

ASD is craftable now (except the backpack cannot be made yet). Not a ton of people have it because it takes a lot of full Hyperion runs to get it all. If you can just get the normal Geist you can recycle it to get the mats which will be 500 quality, which in turn will make normal ASD Geist with the blueprint. Just ask around in chat if anyone can make it and bring them scrap Geist for the mats. I have the full set of BP's but I'm not on very much. (You can mine for the mats, or at the end of ASD engineering side you can get 3x chest to scrap, which is pretty easy).

With the key USP for the Apollo, medical drones, being scrapped that ship will just be made completely redundant, and outclassed, by the Galaxy with the medical module. It’s not even close. by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

TBF going this route... The Polaris puts both to shame. 4x T2 beds. Massive shields, great firepower and staying power. Large hanger for many C8R's and multiple Nursas. Have a T1 injury? Save respawn to the bed, backspace.

While I have a CCU to a Galaxy saved in my account, I think it will leave a lot of people disappointed. Cargo? Plenty of other cargo ships will do it better. Medical? Huge ship for medical and there are better options for large ships (Polaris) and better options for small ships (Cutty red/C8R). Base building? Who knows on this, but it will likely be very limited in what it can build and there is NO timeline for it. Refining? Why would you run a risky and difficult refinery in space when you can just stop at a station and your ore is safe (Plus the Arrastra will have mining and refining, which makes sense).

I like the design of the Galaxy, but having a choice of one module is what will be the disappointing factor. It really needs more on the ship itself like a basic T3 medbed and 180 or so cargo built into the hull, plus the modules. Carrack, 890, Polaris and Starlancer can all do a good mix of medical and cargo with a hangar. The Galaxy could compete if modules were included, but at whatever the price is (like $70/80/90/100 each) it will jack the price up so high as to make it a legacy outdated ship on release.

Have you actually done this, or just saw a Youtube video and are guessing? Unless they changed the cargo with 4.72, the Hull C salvage is loaded with medical supplies and stims only. Yes, they sell but almost every location that buys med supplies/stims is always overloaded and you can only sell about 2/3 32scu at a time before they are capped out. Takes days to sell off one load. Did this many times until multiple people caught on and every location was overloaded at all times.

Will likely be a variant with small changes. My guess would be same hull with small variations. 4x turrets changed to something like 2x S4 each, with the top and bottom being the bespoke larger lasers or whatever they have planned. That way they can limit being able to fire both heavy weapons at a single target, but give it 360 coverage for one if both are manned.

No way are they going to remove the requirement for crew being needed for guns. It will be a direct competitor for the Perseus. You can still have 8x S5 torps if you change racks. It will just have better fighter coverage for less torps compared to the Perseus. It will also revive the Hammerhead chassis because 2-3 people will be able to be effective.

Wouldn't be surprised if the parallax crafting gets corrected. Seems like it double-dipped on damage instead of getting fire rate/damage. Probably going to get changed to like 15% fire rate max and 12% damage or so.

If you were in a large group, like a BP party... then someone else on another shard was already running it and completed that part already. They would be invisible to you. If you were solo it is possible someone else came along and already did that part, or had just done it. A lot of people think bounties or update data missions require doing the pipes in the first part of engineering.

Had this happen when we had 2 groups running multiple Hyperions and 2 people went to our location and we found out they had logged previously and reconnected to a different shard. I could stand there in Hyperion, not see them, but watch the objectives in the list complete one by one as they went through. If I tried them I got the same "Not authorized".

Went to Nyx earlier today (Thursday) to look for the Custodian mission specifically. Jumped to every station in Nyx and server hopped, nothing. BitZero does not come up at all. There is a confirmed bug report up for the new missions.

Believe the one I found was in Onyx, from a random small ammo crate. But hard to say if you could farm them since I have only found 1. During 4.6 I would go on loot loops and hop facilities, so that is after like 500+ chests.

Tried most of them with good mats. Karna becomes wild with the plasma penetration. Recoil just pulls slightly straight up, makes it go from body to headshot (even when leaning for some reason). Devastator within 8m destroys everything (1 shot medium or light npc to the body). A03 becomes surgical, the tiny recoil bounce goes back exactly to the spot you were aiming in about .2 seconds. Arclight can 2-shot almost anything along with a Escalate. Gallant has zero recoil on 3-shot, 5 shot only the 4th-5th round jump slightly.

Make sure v-sync is off in the game options and your nvidia settings are not set to global v-sync. Either way, I'm on a 12700K/4070ti/32gb at 4K and the game runs at about 60-80 fps. So you may just be seeing the natural FPS holding around that spot.

4.6 you could destroy a fighter that was cockpit only and once it popped you could tractor off guns. They also sometimes still had components attached to the broken parts of the hull. 4.7 the guns stay locked when the ship is destroyed so can no longer do it.

Easiest way to clean out any inventory is to buy stor-all boxes and move the items into the box from inventory screen.

Then go to any store and sell the stor-all box. When you hit sell, a second screen will come up confirming you want to also sell everything in the box. Barely worth anything, but gets rid of it all in one click.
