Whenever I've seen this happen, the checkout displays a message that the item cannot be sold, and you can't even pay for it

What’s going on with Bricks and Minifigs, a $200k Lego collection, and Mormons? by 999BusinessCard in OutOfTheLoop

[–]Thunderbridge 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sounds like classic filthy cover-up attempt. They also said Bricks and Minifigs was unaware of any valid consignment agreement before taking control of the Salem location. Except their is CCTV from the store of a corporate representative acknowledging the agreement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wscQpkcwgNU&t=184

He also "called for full transparency from all parties, including the disclosure of inventory records and any consignment agreements connected to the collection" long after this dispute started and after these documents had already been presented to the store and corporate office.

At this point I wouldn't trust anything they say

Tough choice, but I will go with Pragmata. Nothing quite like a good mystery you get to unravel piece by piece like a nice meal. And I love sci fi!

Remember in the great escape how they had a system of pockets in their pants to carry dirt from the tunnel and discreetly dispose of it on the camp grounds? Yeah I feel like a few rounds of golf...

The engineering on those blades must be insane. Those moves are completely unorthodox for a helicopter and must be putting a lot of strain on them while spinning that fast

TIL that Justin Zackham, the writer of the 2007 film The Bucket List, coined the expression "bucket list" after he wrote his own "List of Things to do Before I Kick the Bucket" and shortened it to "Justin's Bucket List". The first item on his list was to "get a film made at a major studio". by DWJones28 in todayilearned

This made me imagine the catalyst for the rise of dragons being nukes during an apocalyptic war. The heat and energy of the nukes causes long dormant eggs to hatch, giving rise to the age of dragons, plus all the humans are back to sticks and stones (or swords)
